"Soooo, where are we going again?" Micah asked batting his eyelashes innocently.

"Mm, nice try cutie. I still can't tell you." Levi replied grinning. He was so excited for this. He was gonna give Micah the necklace, and then ask him to be his boyfriend. It was taking everything he had to not say anything.

Levi turned left, following the road up into the hills. He had found this place when he had first moved to Key Town. Up in the hills, tucked away there was a huge lake. A basin in the middle. It was like when you leave a tarp out and it has all of those creases. Then it rains and the tarp fills up. That's what the lake looked like, in Levi's perspective anyway.

"We're almost there, don't worry." Levi told Micah who was looking out the window.

"It's so pretty!" Micah said with wide eyes. His beautiful purple curls were floating almost, like on a breeze. Levi watched him fondly.

They  were almost there, and Levi couldn't wait. He could barely see the far end of the lake from here.

"Close your eyes. Seriously, this is important." Levi told Micah before looking back at the road.

"Fineeee. This better be good."

Levi pulled up to a small area in the shade. He had had his family buy the land when he found it, so it was private. The lake was miles long, and the water was turquoise, lapping at the shore. Levi covered Micah's eyes and led him carefully to the small, grassy peninsula.

"Ok, here we go." He said removing his hands slowly.

Micah rubbed his eyes to adjust to the light. "Oh my God...wow" He gasped.

Micah took in the mountains and the hills and water. Finally his eyes came to rest on the scene in front of him. Levi had set up a picnic, with pretty much all of their favorite foods. There were butterflies flying around, hovering over the lake and flowers, and sitting on the trees. Swans were gracefully swimming in the lake, and there were flowers everywhere.

"I- what? Ohmigodohmigod. You did this for me? Seriously?" Micah practically shrieked. He threw himself into Levi's arms, and Levi could feel himself blushing. Micah pulled back and kissed Levi. His lips were soft, and Levi poured himself into the kiss.

"Well, we can't just let it sit here! Cmon." Levi said, kissing Micah one more time on the forehead.

"Yay! C'mon, let's go!"
