Chapter 5: The Saiyanman

When Kagome entered the house and sit down to a lovely dinner of American lasagna that Bulma had made dinner for them, garlic bread, and a nice salad. Once they were finished with dinner, Kagome did the dishes while Vegeta and Trunks went out training together and Bulma went to the living room to watch the television. When she was finished, she went to the living room and sat next to Bulma. They all watched the television in silence for a while until Bulma began talking to her while changing the subject.

"So how is the party?" Bulma asked her, breaking the silence.

She gazed upon her while humming, "Doing well."

"Is Gohan with you?" She asked her again.

She nodded and began to smile. "Yeah. He was there alright. Also, we have a great time."

"What did you do?"

Kagome blushed softly and said, "Well, after I rejected Sharpner for trying to go out with me, Gohan went to go check on me and then took me home with the Flying Nimbus. Gohan seems to be a very guy after asking me for a ride and I don't see why he is such kind to me."

"Aww, I bet he likes ya! Just admit it! Probably Vegeta is right about you two, you should be the right person for Gohan after the breakup things. You need to get to know him very well." Bulma exclaimed excitedly.

She brushed heavily as she looked away in embarrassment. "But... We barely just met..."

"Then at least talk to him. As sooner as you guys are getting to know each other, then things are going to get bloomy here." Bulma said chuckling.

She blinked, freaking out. "You mean when we started to date?"

"Of course! There's no need to be freaked out about it. At least just wait for two months before you go exclusive with Gohan. It's not too soon that you haven't seen some of your negative quirks, but it's not too late that you'd both start to question the other person's intentions. I bet you'll be a better girlfriend than Videl." Bulma said happily.

Kagome sweatdropped as she looked away. "Should I be worried about dating?"

"No, you just met him today. You have nothing to worry about. After all, you guys are friends before your experience with Gohan comes." Bulma said.

She nodded, chuckling, "Good, I don't think I can handle another boy who asks me out from now."

She chuckled in response.

When the morning comes, Kagome woke up and went to make breakfast with the Brieg Family. By the time they came down, Kagome was just setting everything down on the table and the coffee had just finished brewing.

"Seriously, Kagome, you don't have to make breakfast every morning," Bulma said.

"I know, but I'm up early anyway and besides I enjoy it." Kagome replied with a kind smile, "So eat up, you guys. Everything is nice and hot."

Then they all sit down to enjoy a nice breakfast together. When the breakfast was done, Kagome went to grab her school bag and headed off to school. However, Kagome slithered around the rusty dumpster trying to go unnoticed by the gangster who was having a heated conversation a few yards away.

"What do you mean you don't have the damn money," The bald, overweight man asked. "I went through all the trouble to get this straight from the black market for nothing?"

"I-It's not my fault Charlie. My boss just for--"

Kagome raised an eyebrow when she heard a gun being cocked back.

"I've warned you and your boss too-"

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE FEINS!"

Kagome peered behind the dumpster with a shocked look. Eh? Who is that?

"Who the hell are you?" The man asked.

"The question is, who are you?" The male voice replied, with his high and clear voice.

"That's none of your business. Now you get down from there and tell me who you are before I have to blast it out of you." The man demanded pointing the gun at the man.

"No, no, no. Using a loaded gun is dangerous. I suggest you put it down, sir!"

"I ain't doin' nothin'. You tell me who you are, and then maybe I'll consider it."

"Ok, but I'm not going to repeat this, so remember it well." Then a certain man wearing a superhero outfit with a red cape, which surprised her, "I AM GUARDIAN OF THE CITY, FIGHTER OF--"

With no choice, she jumped out from behind the trash can in self-defense and stood there in front of them with a glaring look.

The man raised his brow in shock and said, "Miss, what are you doing here? You really shouldn't be here because it's dangerous for a lady like you."

"It's helping, sir, and I can't let you do this alone," Kagome said, "Besides, wearing that superhero costume people will think it's a joke, so I won't let that happen to you."

"But, miss, I just wanted to..." His voice faded out as he saw the look Kagome was giving him. Then they heard two criminals arguing.

"Now look what you've done. I was supposed to track down their boss, and now they're not even going to speak!"

"That's right nobody's doin' nothin'. Don't either of you moves a muscle until I'm in the car, understand?"

Before anyone could answer, the man wearing a superhero costume disappeared.

"Whe-where did he go?"

"I'm up here!" He shouted. Everyone looked up and saw him levitating in the air with the car in one of his hands.

What a show off, Kagome thought with a sweatshop

"What in the world?! You get down here with my car!"

"I'm sorry, but that's not possible," he said as he placed it on top of a nearby building.

"That's it!" The criminal man then shot at the man that Kagome has never met, but he easily caught the bullet.

"What is this guy? C'mon, Charlie. We'd better get out of here." Both men took off in the opposite direction, but they were greeted with a kick from Kagome to their stomachs. Both men were rendered unconscious and she crossed her arms with a smirk as the man's feet softly touched the ground.

"Good job, miss! I couldn't have done it without you." He said happily.

"Yeah, no problem. By the way, I must be mistaken that I thought you were pretending to be a superhero with a costume that you were wearing it." Kagome chuckled, rubbing the back of her head.

He smiled. "That's okay, miss."

"Call me, Kagome, whoever you are, sir," Kagome said. Then he shot a ki blast in the air, and she looked up. As soon as she was distracted, he jumped into the air.

"Huh?"

"Call me, Saiyanman, Miss Kagome. I'll see you soon. You don't want to be late for school." After that, he disappeared quickly which, shocked Kagome. She watched him go and vowed that she would soon find out who he is.

Kagome glared at this. What a strange dude...

What she didn't know Saiyanman was Gohan who laughed nervously and then took off into the air before quickly going to school.
