I can't take the pressure Yeah, everybody thinks that you just need to grow up
I know it's hard, it's fucking impossible Tryna make sense of the things that you feel now
Travis woke up on his bed, it was a Saturday and Travis already knew the drill. He hated the way his lifestyle was. If only she was still here, maybe he'd change. He goes into the bathroom only to stop himself, he was going to change and brush his teeth, but his body wouldn't let him. He goes back to bed and checks on his phone which seems like almost three hours.
Phillip messaged me on my phone and that's when I realized. Phillip wanted to hang out, Sal begged Phillip to be able to hang with us since Larry hasn't been around him. I was fine with it and so was Phillip, at least he says but hey, you had a chance now stop being a bitch!
I took a quick shower and styled my hair as some of it falls above my eyes, I tuck strands behind my ears and find an outfit to wear. I decided on a dark grey long-sleeve sweater and some dark blue worn-out jeans, they were baggier on the bottom while they wrapped around my legs hugging my body. I wore a cross necklace and some earrings nobody points out because my hair mostly covers them. I finally wore something that wasn't baggy, my body looked...good? Or am I trying to get used to it...I looked at myself in the mirror, was it the jeans what in the world?
I went to grab my earbuds and walked to Sal's apartment since he is the closest one so we could both walk and talk before Phillip steals the attention or gets too clingy,- I knocked on his door and see him wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, he had some heart and star hair clips on the side of his hair to keep it out of his face and I thought it was funny and cute at the same time.
He Had rainbow socks on and white converse, the socks barely peaked over his jeans. He stared at me for a very long time, his cheeks were dusted with pink and then he smiled at me. He drags his feet out of the door "Hey Travis!" He hugs me tightly having to step on the tip of his shoes, I had to put my hand on his back while we hugged so he wouldn't fall back when he lets go.
We walked to Phillip's house together and I knocked on his door.
Phillip's POV: I was going to see Travis again! We were going to go to the mall, Sal was going to be there also, but he has to bring at least a good amount of his own money, the only main thing I'm buying is food for him honestly. I grab my house key and wallet as I open the door that recently has been knocked on. I see Travis smiling at me "Hey Phillip!" I see Sal with a tiny dumb smirk on his face that I'd be able to wipe away with a hand on his shoulder. He tilts his head a bit to the side of Travis' shoulder "Heyyyyy Phil" I just ignored it as a happy Church boy grasps onto my shoulders with his eyes sparkling. I grab him and close the door shut behind me walking with the two.
Sal was blasting music on his earbuds beside our whole dynamic...Sal looked cool. Like, really cool. Travis was holding the bottom of my sleeve as we walked to an ice cream shop.
Sal flares his hands jumping up and down slightly, like a little child. I then spoke out loud letting go of Travis' hand slightly "Well, I'll pay for the both of y'all so feel free to buy as much ice cream as you want, then we can go to the mall and do other things if y'all would like, even feed those ducks at the pond." Travis smiled already knowing what he wanted, he ordered strawberry ice cream and Sal wanted some sort of raspberry sorbet. I just got Vanilla because I wasn't feeling the "Oh so sweet" ice creams. I gave the cashier 15 dollars in cash and then we sat at the tables outside talking.
Sal and Travis were talking about school and I sat there resting my head against my arm and looked at the concrete while eating my ice cream. I then feel a tiny tap on the table towards my direction, I moved my eyes up and see Sal, Travis was still ranting. Sal looked into my eyes with a sort of worried face I guess you could say? He gives me a tiny thumbs up and I smile weakly in response sitting up to stare at him so he knows I'm not just lying. I don't even know what the hell was happening at that moment. It made me smile a bit, it was sort of endearing of Sal to check on me.
Eventually, Travis looks at the both of us "Hey, we should go to the mall soon! It's going to be more crowded In the next few hours anyways!" We all get up and start walking to the mall together, it wasn't a long walk since the ice cream shop wasn't too far away from it. We all walk into some of the stores and find some things, Travis was basically roaming around the tiny store like a tiny fast hamster in a ball. I and Sal weren't looking for a lot of things, just tiny simple stuff. I look at the accessories in the store and something attracts my eyes.

I found some cool star earrings and suddenly think "Hey...These look like something Sal would wear Heh." I grab them for later on, just wanted to. I found rings, bracelets, and cool pins for myself. I look around a bit more and found a black lighter and a tiny cute figurine of a rat. I bump into Sal across the store and we both stare at each other a bit getting sort of nervous to talk but Sal smiles as I speak up "So what did you find so far?" He smiles happily and holds up a cat stuffed animal and some colorful bracelets and crystals. I chuckle and talk again "I found some cute earrings you might like!" I show him the star earrings and he grabs them gently and smiles. It was kind of cool to be able to see his expressions "Wow! Thanks, Phillip!" He laughs and Travis runs and scares the both of us "I finished shoppingggg" Sal sighs and I laugh for a little bit "Okay, we should pay right now then."
I pay for mine and Travis' things, Sal didn't buy much...
so I paid for his too. 🌩️🍋🍂
