The Break In

You and your husband Milo were asleep in your room when you heard a loud thud. You got up to investigate what that this was and to see who would've made that loud noise inside your house.

Y/N: "Hello?... Anyone there?... I'm not gonna ask again... hello?"

All of a sudden you felt pain in your leg, foot and in your arm and then you started screaming really really loud for your husband Milo which then sent the stranger out of your house setting off the alarm and the alarm sent a dog off across the street barking at 2:00a.m. You were still screaming and crying out in pain when you finally heard the voice that you know all to well.

Milo: Y/N! Oh my god baby what happened?

Y/N: I heard a loud thud, came to investigate and a stranger was in our house and now I'm like this.

Milo: I'm calling the police.

Security Person: Mr. And Mrs. Manheim is everything alright?

Milo: No my wife heard a loud thud which belonged to a stranger who was in our house and now she's badly hurt.

Security Person: Ok sir we have the police on the way. Will she need an ambulance?

Y/N: Hurry please I hurt so bad.

Security Person: Mrs. Manheim the police and ambulance are on their way. I just got an alert that they're almost there.

Officer: Mr. Manheim it's the police open up!

Milo: Hi.

Officer: Hi. We need you to step out of your house please sir.

Milo: Not without my wife!

Y/N: Milo I'm ok just do what he said so they can do a walk through with me in the middle of it to see if the person took anything valuable or not.

Officer: How do you know that?

Y/N: I watch a lot of TV shows and reality tv.

EMT: Officer are we good to come and assess the patient?

Officer: Please come in.

After the EMT'S came and got you and brought you to the ambulance. They assessed your injuries and they got you ready for transport to the hospital.

Milo: Baby it's gonna be ok.

EMT: Sir I'm sorry you can't come with her to the hospital if you're not immediate family.

Milo: No you have to let me go I'm her husband!

EMT: Ok sir get in we'll check you out when we get to the hospital. As far as you know are you injured in any way?

Milo: No.

Officer: Mr. Manheim I'm detective James and I will be the one handling this I will meet you at the hospital to ask some questions if you and your wife are up to it.

Milo: That would be fine right baby?

Y/N: That's fine.

Officer: Good. I will see you two after I'm done here. You get well Mrs. Manheim.

Y/N: Thank you.

At the hospital they evaluated your injuries and nothing was majorly life threatening so they kept you in a bed by the nurses station and the nurses left you two alone.

Milo: Do I need to call my mom to come stay with you just incase I have to go to the station for questioning?

Y/N: No Milo I'm fine.

Milo: Are you hungry?

Y/N: I am a little bit. Can you ask the nurse if I can eat something?

Milo: yeah. Try to get some rest ok?
