Dreams pov:

Passed an entire week and I've been looking at that star every day

I still talk to George and now occasionally leave the hospital

But i spend every night with George

After seeing that bright star I've been less anxious and worried

Me and Karl got much closer, he stays a lot more

He told me that apparently George used to work with him in that bookstore

He told me how they met in 3rd grade and since then are best friends

Karl is really chill and i love it

His parents are divorced but he says its much better this way

His mother married another guy who's rich and successful but kinda old

He doesn't talk to his father and doesn't even know if hes alive

Cause right after his parents divorced his dad got lung cancer from all of those cigarettes he smoked

His mother still came to visit but Karl didn't

He hated his dad, his childhood was ruined only cause of his dad

His dad @bused and SAed him many times, that all started when Karl was only 5

Georges childhood was similar but also with bullying at school, and his parents never got a divorce

So Karl and George bonded quickly

Every time i think of that my heart brakes for them

And it brakes me even more that now they have to struggle with day to day things

They've never felt love in their childhoods

They had to mature quicker than other kids

And i will never understand that kind of parents

Why would they make their own children go through so much pain

They are the people that should protect and love at all costs

After hearing Georges whole story i could not sleep for days

He was never given a chance to speak or to do anything

He was an only child with two abusive, addict, alcoholic parents

Both of his parents were horrible but his dad was worse

He would beat him for no reason

His mom abused him mentally and verbally which was as bad

And his dad abused him in every way possible

His classmates made fun of him

His teachers gave no shit about him showing up to school with bruises and that he seriously struggled with communication

His parents also abused each other

He had no one, only Karl

But his mother sometimes was nicer to him

She used to be a figure skater but had to quit

So she wanted him to go skating too

No matter how much money they had they always had some for Georges figure skating

At first he hated it cause he was forced to go there

But after a year or two he started to enjoy it more

So his only escape from this fucked up world was figure skating

His dad hated that George got any fun

But his mom defended George every time the figure skating thing came up

At those moments George couldn't recognize her

She was nice and kind not like always

She was usually abusive and really mean but she always wanted her child to be a figure skater like her

His life was still a mess even after starting figure skating

He also showed signs of mental illnesses but obviously nobody cared

His parents were also poor so all the anger and stress from their work was put on George by blaming him

His dad often hit George cause the money went to his figure skating thing

Thankfully when he was in 8th grade his history teacher realized something was wrong

George couldn't tell him anything but the teacher understood just by the injuries

The history teacher called the police and Georges parents were arrested, they also had done a lot of crimes like murder

They killed their first child that was born before George

The kid died at only 3 years old cause of the abuse

So after the police arrested the parents George was supposed to go to an orphanage but the history teacher took him

The man is a miracle, he most likely saved Georges life

But George still didn't feel the love he should've been having

The teacher wasn't like a parent figure, he was just like a teacher but a nice one

The teacher also let George continue to figure skate

The teachers name was Luke, he was from canada and always wanted kids but never got the chance to get married

Somehow no one found him attractive and his interests were boring to everyone

Luke loved chess and golfing, he liked traveling but could only travel in the UK

He loved reading old book especially the old romance ones, he found it much better than these days romance

But passed away cause of cancer at the age of 62

George was 18 and could already live alone

Luke got George the apartment and gave him all his savings before passing away

After graduation, George did not apply to any college

Luke wasn't mad about the fact that George wasn't going to college

He actually supported that, cause Luke retired and wanted to finally travel with George

George also won a bunch of competitions and some of the prizes were money

They both only traveled to Italy

After that Luke was diagnosed with brain cancer

He had the last stage, so he had only 2 months left

He peacefully died in his sleep

This chapter was kinda tough sorry

This whole chapter was just Georges entire past, poor George

George is in a coma, Dream is depressed, wow i never thought I'd ever be writing this kind of a story lmao

I don't know should the next chapter be Dreams past?
