Dreams pov:
We get home while George still can't stop talking about how great the performance was
"Yeah George i agree, it was great" Nick says as we all enter our home
I chuckle at George cause he really can't stop himself
"Yeah i know! So like how did she even land that triple axel-" George continues as i get lost in his eyes again
I love seeing him so excited and happy
Nick and George continue the conversation but i still can't get my eyes off George
We eat the delicious food Jared made
George is still talking about Tinas performance
"Right Dream?" He asks and i snap back
"Wait what?"
He sighs and rolls his eyes
"Sorry I didn't hear you" i say
I see Georges face expression drop
"Forget it" he says and stops talking
His voice isn't as cheerful anymore
Ugh I ruined everything as always
I look at Nick and he is just peacefully eating in his own world
"George I'm sorry please keep talking" i say cause i can't stand seeing him upset and I don't know what else to say right now
"You both aren't even listening"
"We are, I'm really invested"
"No you're not"
George finishes his food and leaves
After a while me and Nick also finish eating the food
Nick goes into his room and i go into mine
I see George lying on his side, facing the other direction
I hope I didn't really upset him
"Hey..uhm look I'm really s-"
"Its okay, it doesn't matter" he says without moving
I lie down next to him
"I'm sure you will be on that rink" I whisper cause i know its all he thinks of
He lightly nods "I loved Tinas performance- but you know..i feel weird...its not jealousy or anger..its just weird" he says and turns on his back
"I know how you feel" i say and we make eye contact
"And its okay" i say
"Just don't think about that.."
"Yea..I shouldn't" he says looking at me with his dark brown eyes
"Do you still like me?" He randomly asks
"Sorry?" I ask
"You know...you liked me cause i skated and it's the first thing you noticed about me but now I'm not the same person who you met that day" he says and fidgets with his fingers
