-He felt his knees quivering in fear. Those eyes. Those dead eyes and this blank expression. It send jolts of absolute fear down his spine.-

Callum walked to the castle whilst holding Taro's hand. He was so glad. Taro seemed like such a kind man to Callum. And Taro couldn't stop smiling and blushing. He had never experienced such feelings before. Callum made him so unbelievably happy, it almost felt unreal.

As the two young men arrived at the castle gates Taro was at a loss for words. Two giant, golden gates, big enough to fit a full sized dragon through them. The gates open with a fluid motion and two giants stood behind them. Both dressed in suit and tie with a stoic face. Despite their calm appearance they seemed quite frightening.

Callum greeted them and walked through the gates, pulling Taro along with him by the wrist. Taro didn't say anything. He just let himself get dragged into the castle. Taro's eyes were on Callum the entire time. He just couldn't tear them away. In Taro's eyes Callum beauty was much higher than the beauty of the castle.

Still dragging Taro by the wrist, Callum walked into the dining room. What Taro saw there clearly wasn't what he expected. His jaw was practically on the floor and his eyes were wide. At the dining table sat a beautiful woman with a crystal crown on her head. And next to her....a dragon! A grown dragon with sparkling, light blue scales, wich almost reminded him of snow, and icy blue eyes. Steam came out of his nostrils and his icy blue eyes narrowed at the sight of Taro. He looked quite displeased. Taro was intimidated by this dragon. 'Does the queen keep a dragon as her pet?!' Taro asked himself as his eyes wandered away from the dragon.

But what his eyes landed on next was only more intimidating to him.

An elf with brown and blonde hair sat there. His blue, left eye seemed to stare right into Taro's soul while the right eye was covered by the very uniquely coloured hair. A light blue scar, reminding of a lighting bolt ran across his face, over the blue eye with an unusual big pupil. While Taro was occupied with being intimated by the smaller elf, said elf moved the hair, covering his right eye away, revealing a brown eye with an incredibly small pupil. This elf, he terrified Taro. He felt his knees quivering in fear. Those eyes. Those dead eyes and this blank expression. It send jolts of absolute fear down his spine. The elf with the lightning scar didn't take his eyes off of Taro, seeming to judge him.

'What's his issue?! Is something off about my face? Are my clothes dirty?!.....Does...could he possibly know who I am...? Oh, for the love of Killum, please no! If he knows who I am that might ruin my chances with Callum....I...I don't want to lose Callum, not when I've gotten this far already!' Taro thought in a panic. His mind was racing with thoughts as to why this strange looking elf seemed to judge him so harshly.

While Taro was quivering in fear, Callum ran over to this terrifying elf and embraced him happily. "Callix! You're back home! I'm so glad you're well. How was your little adventure?" The unusual elf looked at Callum and a light smile danced across his lips. "I've been well. Just a new scar, nothing more than that. And you? Anything new in your life?" Callix asked with a teasing grin and a raised eyebrow. Callum smiled widely as he rushed over to Taro. He gently placed one hand on the mud-brown eyed elf's shoulder. "Mother, Father, Callix, I've met someone! This is Taro. I met him on the market today!" Taro waved awkwardly at the people in the room, a nervous smile playing on his thin lips. Meanwhile Callum's smile and the glow in his eyes battled that of the sun.

'Wait, Father?? What Father? Who does Callum mean? This Callix surely isn't his father, but I don't see another man here....Who could Callum be talking about?'
