Thirty

Layla stood in the kitchen as she sat feeding ebony and smiled as Sami walked in and smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and smiled as she leant into him

"How are you feeling" he asked as she smiled

"I'm okay. I'm tired. I just want things to work out. It's not easy" she said as he smiled

"She's worth it. I know it's hard but I'm glad we're doing this, being a family all of this" he said as he took ebony from Layla who looked to her and smiled

"Your daddy's little girl aren't you" Sami said to ebony as Layla looked to them and smiled. She placed a hand on her hand and smiled as she looked to them

She knew how they were planning to get married and make it all official and she loved that but part of her still felt as if she was a kid and it scared her. Sami placed ebony in her high chair and smiled as he looked to Layla

"Are you okay" he asked as she smiled

"Yeah I am just thinking over things. I mean me and you and us getting married. Does it scare you all that we have been through" she asked as he nodded

"It does. It's my job to look after you and ebony and support you and it's scary as we are all still young still but I also know I wouldnt change it for the world. Are  you having second thoughts" he asked as Layla smiled

"No it's just hard all of this. I miss the days we'd go out and having sex in the restroom toilets" she said as he looked to her and smirked

"Well we can still do that" he said as he leant in and kissed her passionately

Layla walked thrift the village and looked to see Mia and frowned as she looked to her

"Are you okay" lays asked as mia sighed

"Not really. It's things with warren it's just complicated and now things are worse" she said as mia frowned

"How do you mean" Layla asked as mia looked to her sister and sighed

"I messed up. I slept with warren. It's a mistake and now he thinks we are getting back together it was stupid I'm pregnant and hormonal and it shouldn't of happened" Mia said as Layla smiled

"Have you spoken to him over it? Your having a baby and you need to focus on the baby and not over the mess that's going on with the two of you" Layla said as mia smiled

"I know. I know what I need to do but part of me is still in love with him and I know it's a mess but I don't know what to think" Mia said as Layla pulled her into a hug

"It's going to be okay"

Layla got back to the flat and sighed as she placed ebony down for a nap and smiled. Layla knew how hard that she was trying to be a good mum and she knew it wasn't easy

Layla knew how it wasn't easy and she knew how she just wanted to be like her mum as she knew how easy that Sandy made it look

All that Layla knew was that all of this, being a mum and a housewife wasn't easy and she knew how she wanted to make things perfect for Sami and ebony and she wanted to do well

But what Layla didn't know was that things were only going to get a lot worse for her mental health
