Layla sat in her hospital bed. She was smiling down at her newborn baby daughter. She was in awe that she had made something so perfect.

Layla smiled as Sami walked in with some food. He looked at her. "Hey. Do we have a name for her?" He asked as he looked at his perfect newborn.

Layla nodded. "I was thinking Ebony. Ebony Maalik," she told him.

Sami smiled and nodded. He kissed her and picked up Ebony. He smiled. "She really is perfect. Mad to think that we made her," he said.

"I know. I love her so much."

A couple of days later, Layla had been discharged from the hospital. She was finally taking her baby home. She was anxious about it. But she knew she and Sami would be starting their new family.

Layla looked at Sami. "Are we ready for this? I mean this is going to be hard. She's a newborn and neither of us know what we're doing," she said.

Sami smiled. "I promise you babe. It'll be okay. This is new to both of us. But I promise that it will all work out," he told her.

Layla nodded. But she was still scared. She was scared that she was going to mess up with her daughter. She wiped away a tear as she looked to her sleeping daughter. "I'm scared."

"You don't need to be baby. I'm here. For you both. We'll do this together," Sami said.

Layla looked up as Sandy walked in with Mia behind her. She smiled. "So I thought madam here could get some practice in. Considering her baby daddy did a bunk."

"Cause your sons set him up."

Layla rolled her eyes. "No arguing around Ebony. She is pure and innocent. So if you're going to argue, sling your hook," she told them.

Mia sat down and smiled. "She's gorgeous. She really is," she told her.

"Thanks. Yours will be too. They'll be the newest generation of troublemakers," she told her.

Mia laughed. "Well with my genes and Warren's, I'm bound to be carrying a troublemaker. I just hope I'm not alone."

"You won't be. You'll have me and mum. And now Sami. Because I have no doubt that he's going to want more babies."

Mia laughed and nodded. She sighed. "I should go. I have stuff to do," she told her.

Layla groaned as Misbah and Yasmin had just left. She loved the Maalik family. But at the same time, she wanted to be with just Sami and Ebony.

Sami sat down and smiled. "So. It's just us three now. What shall we do?" He asked.

"Sleep. Because madam here part Roscoe and she will be up every hour to be fed. Just like her uncles," Layla mumbled as she pulled a blanket over her.

Sami laughed and nodded. He pulled her into his arms and held her as she fell asleep. He checked on Ebony who was fast asleep in her Moses basket.

At that moment in time, everything seemed perfect for the little family. But would it last?
