I decided to take Kate on a date (Ha, rhymes). Amyway, I decided to take her to a movie and then to get some tea. It was simple. In the early morning when I woke up, I turned and saw Kate, still sleeping soundly, a smile adorning her face, as her chest steadily rose and fell. I watched her for a couple of minutes. She seemed at peace, like the universe had decided to leave her alone, and let her sleep peacefully. I moved to her, and I placed my hand on her cheek, and kissed her forehead. Her eyes fluttered open, and she gave me the most innocent look I've ever seen in someone's eyes. "Morning, Kate. Did you sleep well?" I asked, my voice full of sincerity. She just smiled, not saying a word, like telling me that she slept peacefully, without saying a word. I smile at her and I sit next to her. She gets up slowly, and leans into me, to which I respond by holding her close to my chest. She says almost inaudibly, "I dreamed about you, Max." Fortunately, I heard her clearly. I reply, "What about me, Kate?" She smiles. "I dreamed... I dreamed that you and I.... we... we had a family. A child. A pet. And a home, not some rich person's apartment, but an actual home. And we were happy. But whenever I looked at you, you had angel wings. Max, your wings are things of beauty and wonder. And yes, a movie and tea sounds like a great way to start the morning." I looked at her, shocked at the last part. "How did you-" She smirked, and planted a kiss on my lips. Which is my job by the way. But I smiled and pulled her close. "Let's get to the movie. Not a minute to waste." So she got up and we left. God, I love this girl, more than anything. She means so much.
