"Kate, have you seen my hoodie?" I yell from the kitchen. "No, I haven't seen it! Why do you ask?" She yells back. I reply, while walking in her general direction, lowering my volume as I get closer: "Last I recall, when we had fun, you put it on afterwards to make up for lack of clothing." She snaps her fingers. "Oh! Oh yeah! Let me go get it for you. I know exactly where it is." And she walks off. I stand there awkwardly, like the time when Victoria was making fun of me on the dorm steps. I suddenly take interest in my shoes. Extreme interest. And let me tell you, they're some pretty snazzy shoes. Converse has always been my favorite brand. When I heard footsteps, my head shot up, and Kate had my hoodie. I walked over to her, and gently took it from her. It smelled funny. I put my nose up to it, and it smelled like Kate. "Babe, did you sleep with this?" I ask. Kate blushes, and says a quiet, "Yeah, kinda." Unexpected. I pull out my Polaroid and snap a picture of a blushing Kate. When the picture came out and I grabbed it, my heart stopped. "She... she looks so innocent. So precious. So beautiful. I... I love her." I tell her, "Kate, you have angel wings. I'm in love with an angel. Who is also my girlfriend. You're amazing, Kate. This is unexpected. Unexpected in the fact that I'm in a relationship with an angel from heaven." I see the biggest smile on her face, from ear to ear. And I love it.
