(Okay people, a person commented on one of the chapters of this fic, asking me to make a chapter about Max being sick. So you know who you are, and I dedicate this story to you. Anyway, enjoy)
Chapter 7: Sickness
Max coughed violently, laying in bed and moaning in pain. Kate walked into the room with a tray full of antibiotics and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. She got a damp rag and pressed it to Max's forehead. "Kate, why am I so sick?" Asked Max, coughing again, and blowing her nose, throwing the tissue in the trash bin next to the bed and laying her head back down, moaning again, her voice nasaly. Kate set the tray of food and antibiotics on the end table, and kissed Max's forehead, saying, "You just came down with the flu. It is flu season after all, Max. But you'll get better." Max nodded slowly, and blew her nose again, Kate grabbing the tissue and throwing it away. She cooed softly to Max, and kissed her forehead, and turned on the television, going to Netflix and starting a marathon. Max smiled, and whispered to Kate, "Thank you for taking care of me Kate." Kate looked over at Max and smiled, replying, "You're welcome Max. I love you and I will always be here." With that, Max leaned in for a kiss, but Kate put her hand on Max's face, saying, "No kisses on the lips till you get better. So this'll just have to do for now." And Kate kissed Max on the cheek, and laid down next to the sick photigrapher, and they watched Netflix for the rest of the day.
