The chiming of the bell got Hannah's attention notifying her of a new presence walking into the bookstore. Raising her head to look at the person, she thought, "What the hell was  she doing here" As Monica walked towards the counter to talk to Hannah when Hannah rudely answered saying "the store Policy says that you can only approach the counter in terms of purchase or inquiry".

For fuck sake Hannah why are you trying to prove difficult , can't you see that I am here, trying to to apologies to you , repeating her earlier statement Hannah said store Policy says that you can only--- before she could finish Monica carries a random book from a self and placed it on the counter ."Are you happy now ". Monica said with a touch of frustration evident in her voice " I am truly sorry , I know you won't believe me but I truly am . coming here was not easy, it's not easy being the council's man daughter, I barely have any friends and am just starting to fit in , in this pack and I felt like maybe you were a spy for my dad , I'm ... I'm just so sorry ". Monica ramble on .

"wow" maybe I was too harsh on her " Hannah thought . " Em ...em, Monica it's okay , we are cool ". Hannah said.

"really," Monica said with excitement in her eyes "you have truly forgiven me , am so happy, join us for movies this evening, it's going to be just you, me , Jackson and Andrew . just like a small thing , what time do you live work".

" oh , it's fine , I'm...I'm okay " Hannah hesitated " no ,no you should join us by 9 , I promise you will like it " Monica insisted .

" NO!!!! , ". Hannah said, but it sounded more like a growl, her wolf was on edge , she had to fix it before she hurt somebody  .

oh OK hm-mm maybe next time , sorry if you wont mind leaving, i have to close the store early .

As Hannah  walked slowly approaching the broken down gazebo , anxiously waiting for Alpha brad

Hannah i don't have time for this... so let get this over with

well something happening the shots i don't think their walking shes becoming more aggressive what should i do ,

I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened , your body is building up a tolerance , take this brand said handling her a cylindrical bottle filled withe closed capsuled pills take this in-place of the short , anytime your out , you know the drill.

                The cycle continued and in a funny way Hannah started to  enjoying the company , Monica slowly became a constant in the shop , always bringing in coffee , ranting on about what a pack member did oh how hard it is to be a councilmen daughter, always asking about my wolf , always getting angry when i don't reply, it was slow at first but i have learnt to warm up to her ,which is why when she walked into the store with him and his trapping gaze, i was cut but surprised  he went through the store studying a hard cover of pride and prejudice , maybe it was the way he stared expectantly waiting for my answer when  Monica asked that we should all see a movie ?  but i said yes ,...

"yes?"

"yes" what time should i met you guys "Hannah asked "

  He answered i will pick you by nine ,

we have to go the meeting is starting soon see you later Ann

calling her Ann was another annoying habit Monica had but i guess she could leave with that beside Monica was one of the few people willing  to associate with her and if being open to this friendship was all she had to do to get close to jack she was willing , she knew she had feelings for jack not sure to what extent but she couldn't just ignore his exitance anymore....

My heart beat loudly clenching my chest and pulling my hoodie of I stared straight in to Jackson's eyes our gaze on wavering his eyes pulled me in every one could have been staring ,but I was lost in his eyes all I saw was him . The fire was ignited the attraction nothing like I have ever felt before. He smiled and wow it was a sight to behold. We walked into the movie theater and all though the movie his eyes never left me I could feel the burning gaze and I enjoyed it...

The night came to an end and I found myself riding his car back home the silence was prominent but extremely comfortable like we understood each other completely and didn't need small talk to feel the silence ,his car came to a stop and I realized I was outside my home . Night alpha I said as I stood to rise when I noticed his hand Jackson, call me Jackson he said and drove off.

The stereo blasted bellyache by Billie Eilish and I moved my body flowing to the beats I felt free, jumpy probably a sugar rush but one thing was certain I had not felt this way in a long time, running my hand through my hair I moved my hips around and jumped to the song I was intoxicated with a strange but good feeling called happiness. Joyce soon came out of the kitchen staring at me smiling, I assume the movie went well she asked it went better than well, join me, no I can't am making Coco she said. Taking her hands, and moving it a bit and soon enough we were both swaying to the rhythm like teenager on a dance floor.
