The sidewalk shimmered in the heat of the midday sun. You walked at an average pace, observing the groups of people who caught your eye as you walked.

" Fuck is hot.." you muttered to no one in particular making your way outside of school since you already took all of your classes.
You opened your car door and stepped inside throwing your bag in the passenger seat, as you adjusted in the car you heard your phone ring.

" Hello?" Renier greeted you on the phone.

" Hey look, I know you quit to focus on your studies.. but we need you tonight. Apparently, huge business offers are going to be there and I was wondering if maybe you could sing. "
You leaned back from the wheel to the car seat. Resting your arm at the car door, " How much will I be getting paid?" You asked putting your car keys into the keyhole, and turning the engine on.
" 600 is the most we can do right now, we're a little short on money."
