Love comes with too much cost

Wednesday Addams coldly left her parents with a simple goodbye after her parents dropped her off at Nevermore. She was, unwillingly, not too tortured by the idea of reattending the academy. After all, it had provided her with many new thrills such as near-death-experiences, meeting a new friend, and experiencing love at its first bloom. This enlightened her with the much needed knowledge to fully  uphold her desire to stay in a lone pack; with few friends in her inner circle except the carefully selected few.

"Wednesday!", a voice called, sounding all too familiar, resembling the 50 voicemails left on her phone. Daily. It was getting a little creepy. And Wednesday loved creepy, this was not the kind she liked. "Xavier", she said plainly as always. "How was your break?", he asked, offering to take her bags. As much as Wednesday hated to accept, she was struggling her to uphold her bags. "Fine. Oddly boring with the satisfaction of being hunted absent. Pugsley can suffice for a while, but he is oddly dole". This was the most she'd spoken to Xavier in... a lifetime. "Umm... good I guess? I missed you", Xavier said, giving her a light smile as he opened the door for her to her and Enid's shared bedroom. "This a symbol of the patriarchy that women aren't able to open a simple door for themselves", she stated simply. "Umm, most people just say thanks", he said with a light laugh for good measure. "WEDNESDAY!!", Enid screeched, scrambling out of  Ajax's arms. She gave Wednesday a bug hug, that was returned with a simple hand on the back. This was a step up from her usual just standing there. Ajax gave Xavier a knowing look that said, 'I know what you're trying to do'. Xavier blushed and glared at him. Ajax only laughed but didn't continue because Xavier was stronger and taller than him. "I missed you so much. Wait, is that a phone? You got a phone without telling me?", Enid asked, wide-eyed. "Yes, Xavier gave it to me at the end of last semester", she explained dryly. "I'll have to get your number then!", she said, unfolding a rainbow rug on her side of the room. An inch of the white cloud penetrated Wednesday's side of the room, causing Wednesday to remove a fabric knife from her pocket and cut the inch off. "Of course Wednesday keeps a carpet knife with her", Enid said, hopping back onto Ajax's lap. This won a smile from Xavier, admiring Wednesday's physical status. He eyed her curves, more matured than last semester. Not to mention her overall beauty and confidence. Her unexcitable care of people's opinions of her is what turned her on the most.

"Xavier", she muttered, taking his hand loosely into hers and leading him outside into the hall. "I have something to tell you", she said, having a scared tone to it he'd never heard before. He gripped her hand, and to his surprise, she didn't pull away. She pulled her phone out, revealing the various pictures of her taken by the stocker. "Look...". "Wednesday..", he began but was cut off by Wednesday cutting him off. "I'm not done", she said firmly, still not pulling away. "I'll help you", he said.
