Xavier hadn't seen his girlfriend all day, (which wasn't that ordinary) so he decided to let it slide, but when he didn't find her in the hive, he started to get worried. Quietly, he snuck into Wednesday's dorm knowing that Enid was on a date with Ajax. "Wednesday?", he called, searching her dark side of the room. He heard sniffling, then deep breathing. "Wednesday", he said softly, seeing her crying as she sat curled up in a corner. "What's wrong", he said softly, approaching her. "Nothing. What's wrong with you?", she asked, avoiding the question. "It's ok to cry". Xavier sat next to his girlfriend and wrapped his arm around her, kissing her head as she laid it on his shoulder. "You don't have to tell me, but please let me stay with you", he begged, looking into her dark eyes. "Ok", she whispered, snuggling close to her person.

After what felt like forever to Xavier, Wednesday finally opened up to her. "It's Pugsley", she said, rubbing her hand on Xavier's thigh. "What happened to him?", Xavier asked encouraging her to say more, but still not forcing it. "He was exploring by himself, like the stupid idiot that he is. He was exploring a cave, and he fell. He is in a coma and nobody knows if he will ever wake up", Wednesday managed to say before falling into another round of sobs. "Oh, that's terrible. I'm so sorry", he said, shedding a tear himself because he had grown fond of that boy. "Are you going to see him?", he asked. "I don't know. I might show emotion in front of my parents, and then they'll start expecting me to show emotion regularly", she answered. "I'll go with you", he offered. "You'd to that?", she said, pretending to be surprised. "I'd do anything for you", he said honestly. In that moment, Wednesday and Xavier's eyes met, their faces drawing near to each other. Before Wednesday knew it, Xavier and her were was kissing passionately, her straddling him while she held his face in her hands. "I love you", he whispered. "I love you, too", she said back, showing a real smile.
