Everyday for a while I didn't see Lexi, and I was starting to feel like she was actively avoiding me. I mean, what else could she be doing? I had to find out for myself. Jack and Cinnamon were searching for her everyday, but no luck. After school, I asked Lexi's sister, Aqua, where Lexi was. She never even responded to me! She just stared into my soul then walked off. What the hell?
Jack had enough when it was Saturday. Jack grabbed my wrist tightly and dragged me to Lexi's house. Jack knocked loudly on her door. Her father, Mr. Somebody, answered. He seemed more depressed then he usually does, and spoke in a very low voice. I was about to ask politely to come inside, but Jack asked in a strict voice to come in. Mr. Somebody allowed us in and went to probably get himself a coffee. I asked him where Lexi was. He went silent for a very long time, but then responded with...
"She's in her room, but I wouldn't go in there if I was you two."
Weird, isn't it? I went over to her room anyways, and Rupert was guarding the door like he was a guard of a castle. I started to speak to Rup but he seemed really mad. He stared at me like he was about to kill me right when I opened my mouth. Rupert stated abruptly that I should leave. Jack pleaded Rupert to let us in, but he refused. He started to breathe like a dragon. It felt like he was about to snap.
Rupert stepped closer to me and Jackie, but then the door opened slightly. It was Lexi! She was hiding behind the door, I could only see a little bit of her face and a lot of her messy hair. She asked who was there. Rup responded saying it was us. Lexi then quietly stated, almost whispered, to let me and Jack in. Rupert sighed and he went into Lexi's room. They seemed to have a small conversion, then he came outside.
Rup let us in... and Lexi seemed to hide herself under blankets and pillows. Lexi asked us to come over to her bed. I sat right on her bed, next to her, while Jack sat right on the floor like he always does. Lexi said she was avoiding everybody at school because of one reason. She... she showed it to us, and I can't believe what I'm seeing. What the hell happened to her?
