Chapter 12

Logan Pov~

"Can you chill?" Jackie asks me rudely. I rolled my eyes and walked ahead of her and her new boyfriend Dylan. I hate that guy he's a dick.

We were all on our way to the outskirts of the territory looking for Darren Marx's family. Jackie had plans with Dylan and didn't want to blow him off so she begged us to take him along. We denied multiple times but she couldn't get "No" through her thick skull.

I know he is using her, that's what he is famous for. I can't believe Aiden and Liam are cool with this.

I steadied my pace with Aiden's and glared at him. He was all caught up in his own thought he hadn't noticed me. At least that's what I thought before he punched me without even looking.

"Oww. What the-" I say but he cuts off.

"Stop glaring. Stay focused we are going to find out some answers. Can you at least act your age for once." He says harshly.

"I'm sorry I thought-" I start to say harshly, but I stopped talking when I realized everyone can hear our conversation.

"What? What did you think?" Aiden asks me intimidatingly.

"I didn't know we were just letting anyone date our sister." I mindlinked privately to Aiden.

"Who Dylan?" He asked.

"Yea. Who else?" I reply.

"He's harmless." He says back.

"What the hell are you talking about? We are talking about the same guy right?" I asked baffled.

"Dylan is a smart guy. He knows what he was getting into when he asked the Alpha's daughter out. He should know that if he hurts her in anyway we will break him." He mindlinks back, and throws a smile my way before stopping ans turning around to face the group.

"Alright, we are close. Stick together and follow us. Dylan remember the rules?" Aiden asks.

"Stay in the back and don't get involved." Dylan repeats the instruction Jacob told him before we began our journey.

"Exactly. Rosie you okay?" He asks our baby sis.

She nods her head "Yes." She replies as Lucas has her on his back. (In human form of course)

"Great. It's the last house on the right. You all ready?" He asks.

I glanced towards everyone and everyone seems prepared for a little interrogation session.

We have never interrogated anyone before, but we have seem the warriors, Conner and my dad do it. It didn't look that hard.

If your wondering how my parents let us go on this dangerous adventure all by ourselves, well......they didn't. They think we are going into town which is the human side.

We intend to keep it that way. We have to learn to do these things ourselves. Oh that reminds me we did Training # 2 this morning at 5 a.m. We didn't finish till 11 p.m. No wonder Rosie wanted to be carried. I wanna be carried too.

Lucas voice brought me back to Earth.

"What if they know nothing? What if we are interrogating them for no reason?" He asks.

"Don't you have that gut feeling?" Addy asks him.

"Yea. But usually I only get that feeling when i'm about to get into trouble." He replies.

"Well that's a power. You just have to channel it for the right use." Liam encourages Lucas. Lucas nods and Rosie wraps her arms tighter around him, sort of as a comfort.
