The second day of school. Can't be bad, right? Wrong.
1. Woke up late and came to school at 8:37 and the class was English.
2. Had to finish 10 pages of classwork.
3. Has a project that hasn't even been started yet due in a week.
It was time for music class. Probably will be my favorite class of all.
I walked past all the tables, aiming for the one in the very back. Before that, a feminine voice called my name.
"Hajin! I saved a seat for you!!"
I turned to my side. It was a girl I didn't even know. She had the widest smile and the cutest eye smile. Trying not to be mean, I sat next to her.
"You are..?" I questioned her, with a confused look.
"Oh!! I guess Dongmin didn't talk to you about me. That idiot, I'm Dahyun! I'm his girl best friend!"
Oh, Dahyun. So that was what she looked like. Dongmin never talked about her to me but I've heard that name so many times.
When I walk along the hallway, the following are what I hear;
-"That's the girl who Dongmin always talks to other than Dahyun!"
-"Did you see Dahyun's new post?!'"
-"I wish I could be pretty like Dahyun"
-"Dahyun's voice is so angelic"
-"I heard Dahyun is a trainee!"
There are more. But there's too much to list down!! Honestly though, would you imagine, a girl whose name roams around the school's halls, asks you to sit next to her?!
I took a seat and it was an awkward silence. After a while, the teacher came in.
"Good morning class," she said with a strict smile.
"Today we will-"
"TEACHER!! LAST WEEK YOU SAID YOU WERE GONNA MAKE US SO MATHS INSTEAD OF MUSIC REMEMBER?!???!!!!" a nerdy-looking student exclaimed. Everyone booed him.
"Yes, butttttt.... today we will be doing auditions for the school's New Year's Celebration. So everyone please switch off the lights, fans, and air-conditioning and line up in an orderly fashion"
We made our way to the auditorium. "Oh yeah, I forgot. Dahyun? Please go into all the Grade 11's classes and call the people who are auditioning!" The teacher exclaimed.
Dahyun grabbed my wrist and dragged me with her. After 10 minutes, we finally reached the last classroom. Inside, I first spotted Jihyo. She gave me a little wave and behind her, I saw Dongmin. He smiled and waved at me delightfully, or so I thought, I remembered that Dahyun was behind me. It would make more sense that he was doing that to her.
Dahyun knocked on the door and caught the teacher's attention. She bowed and said, "Good morning teacher! Sorry to disturb the lesson. Can we have the people who are willing to audition for the school's New Year's Celebration in the hall now? Thank you!!"
Dongmin walked over to Dahyun, wait no. He was walking over to me! He walked past Dahyun and said, "Hi, Hajin!! Let's go!"
Dahyun looked as if she ate a fuming hot chili. She patted Dongmin's back. 'Hello?? I'm here too Sherlock!' was written all over her face.
We made our way to the auditorium and oh, my, god! THIS SCHOOL HAD MANY HOT AND YOUNG MUSIC BOYS!!
The teacher asked us to take a seat. I saw Yeojun, the guy from my class yesterday, on the stage!
"Hello, my name is Kim Yeojun. I will be the host for today's event. And- oh! Hajin! Hii!!"
He gave me a little wave and a cute eye smile.
"Anyways so um, anyways first to do the audition is.." his face quickly turned into a frown. "first to do the audition is Lee Dongmin, please come up to the stage.."
Dongmin came up to the stage with a mic wrapped around his right hand while the other hand was fidgeting with his clothes.
He started singing and playing the guitar, so gently and humbly. He looked as if he was feeling it. His guitar skills weren't the best but his voice was so.. undescribably amazing.
Before I knew it, the performance ended. A huge round of applause was given to him. After that, Dongmin ran down next to me and Dahyun.
"Hi guys!!"he said. "Hey! You were really good up there!" Dahyun exclaimed. Just then, we were interrupted by the voice of Yeojun.
"Next up on stage, Kim Dahyun. I repeat, Kim Dahyun" he said, in a monotone voice.
"So, how did I do? Up in stage?" He asked. Before I could answer, the floor was suddenly shaking. Things were dropping on the floor, the sound of glass breaking made my heart stop.
"EARTHQUAKE!!" Someone shouted.
