Shido: Maybe this is what those word really meant. Such a cruel world I live in, if it was the old me I wouldn't realized this.
???: "I think I've come to have an understanding about you"
Shido: Huh? Oh its you, Tohka. I almost forget you're inside me.
???: "Tohka?"
Shido: Yeah, I figures you don't have a name, so I'm going to call you Tohka.
Tohka: "Tohka, yeah, I like the name. Thank you"

Shido: Yeah, you're right. Ive become like this after suffering for so long that I did not care anymore. People say I act like I don't care but trust me that was not an act.
Tohka: And why is that?
Shido: My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape. But even after admitting this, there is no catharsis; my punishment continues to elude me, and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself.
