We see the sunrays shine through Chris's Window, and he wakes up along with Aithnea.
CHRIS: Good morning, Aithnea
AITHNEA: Good morning, Chris
Aithnea climbs off of Chris, he sits up, wipes his eyes, gets up, and stretches.
CHRIS: I got to go to the bathroom. Once I come out, we're heading to the lab to see if Clavell learned more about Alolan Ninetales.
AITHNEA: Okay.
After Chris uses the restroom, they head to the Directors Office
CHRIS: Hey Clavell, I'm here
CLAVELL: Hey, Chris.
CHRIS: Where's Nemona at?
CLAVELL: She's learning more about the Alola Region, so she won't be here for today.
CHRIS: Okay, did you figure out more about Alolan Ninetales yet?
CLAVELL: As a matter of fact, I did.
He pulls up a screen showing Alolan Ninetales Pokedex entry.
CLAVELL: It says right here that Alolan Ninetales are pretty docile creatures, but if you anger it, it will freeze you instantly. It also says that they will protect there trainer no matter what.
CHRIS: Yeah, but this Alolan Ninetales isn't docile, it seems aggressive. Something or someone must've upset it for it to act like this.
CLAVELL: Yeah, but who would upset it? No one knew that this Pokemon existed until today. You're the only one who knows more about this Pokemon than I do.
CHRIS: Yeah, wait, I know more about this Pokemon. Clavell, I know what I must do.
CLAVELL: Oh no, you don't mean?
CHRIS: Yeah, I'm gonna go back to Montenevera, and figure out what's wrong with this Ninetales.
CLAVELL: But Chris, we don't know what this thing is capable of. What if it ends up killing you?
CHRIS: Well, I gotta do something before Montenevera becomes a literal ghost town.
CLAVELL: I guess you're right, okay Chris, if you think you can handle this creature than go for it.
CLAVELL: Be careful, Chris, and I'll let Nemona and Ryme know you're headed back to there to face it dead on.
CHRIS: Okay, thanks, Clavell. See ya soon.
Chris runs out of the academy
CLAVELL: I hope you'll be okay, Chris.
