A hunter in demon clothing
Apo died, Owen killed him.
But what if Apo knew something, rather interesting, that he learned in the maze?
What if Owen wakes up with horns and a tail?

None's POV:

Owen returned home after the successful killing Apo.
He thought nothing about it.
It is not like Apo could do something now.

Or could he?

Apo was a ghost now, roaming the maze.
He still had unfinished business, for that matter, and still couldn't leave.
But he had a plan, to at least stop Owen from killing anyone else.
The demon was not sure if he could interact with the mortal plane but he would find a way. He had to.

And so, with a paper that he found in the maze, Apo started some kind of ritual in the afterlife, from what the paper said he could curse someone to change.
Would it teach Owen a lesson? He wasn't sure, but It was worth giving it a try if that would save the others.

With Owen

Owen was sleeping when suddenly he felt a great pain in his head, something ripping through his skull. He falls on his knees from the pain. He could feel two hard objects on his head. And the pain is slowly going away. Owen gets up from his knees and tries to calm himself down 

But that's quickly interrupted by another pain down his back. "No no no not again please no!!" Owen said with tears in his eyes from the pain. He closed his eyes and felt the pain in his head again but in a different spot. He could feel his ears stretching out. His skin ripped open down his back and a black long thing escaped from under his skin. 

He slowly opens his eyes again and goes to sit on his bed but gets up immediately because when sits he feels something getting crushed the pain goes through his body. He looks to where the pain comes from and he freezes in shock. He could see a black demon tail stuck to himself.  Owen runs over to his chest in panic. He gets a mirror and he sees two orange demon horns on his head he pulls on them to find out there stuck. "No no no no I'm not a demon I'm a human I'm a cure to the world, not a disease no no.....no," Owen said in a panic. That's when he sees Apo smiling blood coming out of his mouth. And the vision is gone.

Apo then was sure, It had worked.

Owen didn't come out of his house for weeks, and Soup started to get worried that he got stung again since it was the only other time when he went weeks like that.

Soup knocked on the door
"Owen? Are you okay in there?"
Soup is then met by a trembling voice, it is not a common thing to become the thing you hated more than anything, so it justifies the voice
"Y-yeah I am fine"
"You don't sound fine Owen, I am going in"
"NO, WAIT!"
When Soup tried to open the door, it seemed like there was something on the other side stopping it from opening.
"Owen, what is happening?!" Soup asks
The commotion did not go unnoticed by magic that was just walking around.
"Is everything alright with Owen?"
"I don't know! He doesn't let me in"
"Come with me," Magic says

They both do some parkour to go up to Owen's rooftop since it is kinda open.
As they looked in, backed against the door, there was a familiar face.

A familiar face with unfamiliar features.

They saw Owen, with orange horns that reminded them of someone, yet not sure who. A long black tail from his back came to the front of him, moving slowly.
Owen's ears are more stretched.
Owen's eyes seemed a bit more orange, but they were not sure.

Out of everything that had happened in the clearing, they were not expecting that.
"What?!" Soup said, getting down to the floor in the sparing arena
"H-How did you-" Owen was then interrupted by Magic
"Since when are you a part demon?!"
"I am not part demon!"
"You have a tail and horns, Owen! You are part demon" Soup says
"I wasn't weeks ago!"
"Can I touch your tail?"
"What happened?"
"No, and I don't know!"
"We should go ask one of the demons! Mabey they know something" Soup suggests
"No! I don't want anyone to see this! I can deal with it myself!"
"Owen come on! You need help"
"Have you and Puddy eaten even?" Magic asks
"I have been giving Puddy carrots!"
"Have you eaten Owen?" Soup asks
"Yes!" Owens stomach rumbles
"You haven't eaten! You are coming with us!"
"I am n-" Owen was interrupted by magic pulling him
"Yes, you are!"

Magic and Soup went with Owen to the main area, Owen trying to pass unnoticed, luckily there wasn't almost anyone there, so they got the food and went into the woods.
They decided to look for krow, rasby or guts to help Owen out.
After neither of them was home, they decided to go to the second clering hideout.
Up there, they saw a familiar face, krow.
"Hey magic, need something?" Krow said
"Owen needs your help"
"My help? For what?"
"Well..."
Soup enters, Owen right behind her
After noticing the demonic features on the ex-human, it just let out a clear "What the fuck happened?"
"I-I don't know!" Owen mutters "This was a bad idea Magic" Even though Owen's voice is calm, his tail reveals Owen's panic.
Swinging back and forth, Owen's tail started knocking things.
Owen tries to stop his new tail and grab his tail, failing
"How do I?!" Owen says frustrated
"Clear your mind, Owen! The tail is like that because you are panicking" Krow says
"Easy to say"
"Focus on mine Owen" Krows tail starts swinging slowly, Owen focused on its tail, and slowly his own tail started to do the same
"Thanks..." Owen says, deep inside, Owen was thinking why did Krow help him instead of just laughing?
"You and magic should stay here, I will see if I can find the other demons, Soup, come with me," Krow says
"Can't you help Owen, krow?" Magic asks
"He is not the same type as me, look at the horns, they are different"
"And you think the others can help?" Soup asks
"Doesn't hurt to give it a try?" It says

After they got Rasby and Guts

"So what is this problem that you two are talking about? And why did you need me and Rasby out of everyone?" Guts asks Soup and Krow
"Owen and Greacie would be better choices..." Rasby mutters
"Well, actually the problem is with Owen," Soup says
"What?"
"You will see when we get there," Krow says

This WILL have a part 2, I just have to write it

After watching "Tooth and Nail" more than one time to try and see if Krow had a tail I decided that in this world it as a tail
