Marinette's POV
Ah, what a lovely day! I walked into the school building as Alya ran over to me.
"Girl, did you hear!" Alya said to me.
"Hear what?" I said back in response.
"Mr. Damocles is our substitute for the day!"
"Uhm, okay?"
"HE SAID WHOEVER TALKS IN HIS CLASS WHEN THEY AE NOT SUPPOSED TO, HE WILL SUSPEND US FROM THE SCHOOL!"
Oh my- what in the world?
"He wouldn't." I said back confidently.
"Oh yes he will! Don't you want to know why Chole disappeared after 1st period?" Alya said.
"ALYA, WE ARE GOING TO DIE!"
"You are, I'm not. If you ever talk, I swear I will not stand up for you."
"Aren't you my bff?"
"That question is hard, give me an easier one."
I rolled my eyes and walked to the classroom to just see Mr. Damocles standing at the front door.
"Seats have been changed and 2 new people got added to the classroom to take over Chole's and Sabrina's spot." Mr. Damocles said. "Look at the seating chart located on the desk."
Dang, not even a hi?
I looked at the seating chart. Okay so, I got the back seat with... LILA?! WHY DO I HAVE TO SIT WITH A RAT!
"Hello Marinette, you sit right here, next to me!" Lila said as she smiled.
"Girl, don't even act innocent." I said making a mad face.
"What do you mean Marinette." She started to cry. "I just wanted to be your friend, that's all!"
"Girl, stop with that fake crying or all that makeup will rub off of you."
"All you do is bully me when I did nothing!"
Mr. Damocles walked into the room. I guess it's time to say bye to this school.
"Is someone... talking?!" Mr. Damocles said.
"No, sorry for that." Lila said as she wiped her tears.
Dramatic as hell.
"If I hear another word, both of you guys will be suspended!" Mr. Damocles said as he stepped outside.
I went over to sit next to Lila. Like I mean, I had no choice- I didn't want to get suspended.
"Hey Marinette! How has your day been?" Lila said while smiling.
"Well, it was going good until I saw your face." I said as I sat down and didn't look at her once.
She sat there in silence. Alya looked at me with a mad face as if she was ready to kill me. I looked away from Alya quickly; she will never believe that this idiot is a liar.
"As you heard, Miss. Bustier isn't here today and I am your substitute. No one can go to the bathroom since some people been using that as an excuse and they escape school using the windows. We got the whole army standing in and outside of the bathrooms so don't even try escaping. They have a gun that they are not afraid to use." Mr. Damocles said.
HOW IS THIS MAN NOT FIRED YET?!
"Excuse me sir, but isn't that child abuse?" I said.
"No, because you guys are teens, not kids."
"OKAY, YOU ARE JUST BEING A JERK RIGHT NOW! I WILL NOT BE SILENCED JUST BECAUSE YOU SAID YOU WILL SUSPEND US FROM THE SCHOOL!" I screamed while turning red.
I saw Adrien stare at me and slightly blush which made me blush too.
"Don't try me girl." Mr. Damocles said.
"I won't try you unless you don't try me." I said.
Oh crap, why would I say that?
"Marinette, get your things and leave this school!"
"Excuse me Mr. Damocles. My stepdad is the mayor, and I will not hesitate to call him and tell him how you are threatening the kids!" Zoe said.
Zoe? I think she was Chole's replacement. Soon after that, all the kids started yelling at Mr. Damocles and all he did was stand there in embarrassment.
"THAT'S IT, I'M QUITTING MY JOB!" Mr. Damocles said as he was packing up his stuff.
"Guys Mr. Damocles isn't as bad as we think! He just wants to follow directions!" Lila said.
"Yeah, Lila is right! Please don't quit Mr. Damocles." Rose said.
"Thank you Rose and Lila, but I'm still going to quit. I will make sure the next principal rewards you guys for me." Mr. Damocles said as he walked out the room.
"Look what you've done Marinette!" Lila screamed. "Miss. Bustier is going to be so mad at you."
"Lila, don't talk to my girlfriend- I MEAN MARINETTE LIKE THAT!" A voice said.
Who the hell said that? I looked around just to see that Zoe said that. I'm not Zoe's girlfriend; what does she mean by that? I saw Adrien look at Zoe with a mad face.
I saw Luka walk inside of the room.
"Hey guys, I heard I was a replacement for someone inside this classroom!" Luka said while smiling.
"Oh, you might be Sabrina's replacement. Your seat is the seat next to Zoe." Adrien said.
Luka went to go sit there as I saw Zoe whisper something to him. What were they talking about? After they were done talking, I saw Luka come up to me.
"Hey Marinette, Zoe wants us to switch seats so you can sit next to her. Are you fine with that?" Luka said to me.
"Uhm- yeah, sure." I said as I got up and went to go sit with Zoe.
I saw Adrien starring at Zoe with a mad face. What is wrong with him?
Adrien's POV
I don't know what Zoe is up to, but I bet it is something bad. It seems like she is trying to flirt with my future wife, and I will not allow that.
I kept looking at Zoe with mad glances so she can take that a warning.
I saw a teacher step into the room and dismissed us to go home until our teacher comes back. While everyone was walking out of the school, I quickly ran to Marinette.
"Marinette!" I screamed.
"What is it Adri-mine I mean Adrien!" Marinette said while blushing.
Ew, cringe.
"Oh uhm, I was wondering if you had any plans this afternoon and if we can uh- you know, hang out?" I said while slightly blushing.
"Uhm... sure?" Marinette said confusingly.
"Great! Let's go your house since my dad doesn't like you."
"Is your dad okay with you coming to my house?"
"He wouldn't mind!"
"Okay, see you later then. I will tell my mom to prepare us some snacks. Bye!"
"Bye."
Zoe's POV
I overheard the conversation of Adrien and Marinette. THIS IDIOT LIKES MARINETTE AND MARINETTE LIKES HIM TOO! I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! My face turned so red and the last thing I remember is an Akuma approaching me.
