I transformed again and went out of my balcony door. This time, I had no distractions. I quickly went to the address that was shown and made it to an alleyway. "Tikki, spots off." I said as I walked towards the door.
As I knocked on the door, it opened. I walked in with Tikki by my side just in case I needed to transform.
"So, you came?" I heard a voice say.
"Where are you?" I said back to them.
"That doesn't matter, Marinette. All that matters is that I know who Monarch is."
"How did you figure out my secret identity?!" I shouted, "Were you the one who told the news that you saw me transform?!"
"Calm down." They said, "Even if I show you myself, you won't even know who I am. Marinette, I've been watching you since day one of school and I hated you ever since then."
"I don't care if I don't know who you are. Just show me your face, it'll make me feel more safer."
I heard footsteps starting to come closer to me. Then, the footsteps stopped.
"In one condition." They spoke.
"WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT?" I yelled.
"Oh, I don't want anything." They said, "I just want you to stay away from Adrien, that's all."
"Okay weirdo, how do you know Adrien?"
"We go to the same school, and I already said that I've been watching you since day one. If you stay away from him then I'll tell you who Monarch is and reveal myself to you."
Stay away from Adrien? Although Zoe might be happy at this decision I wouldn't. I loved Zoe as a friend and Adrien as... more than a friend. I couldn't avoid him just for this.
But if I didn't then I wouldn't know who Monarch is.
"Just like I revealed your secret identity on the news, I could do the same for Monarch too. You don't want to not do this deal, you'll regret it." They said again to me.
"FINE!" I yelled, "I'll stay away from Adrien..."
"Good." They said as they stepped out.
I looked at them, they had green eyes with medium length dark-brown hair.
"Although you might not know me, you know my sister." She said to me.
"Who's your sister, and what's your name?" I said back.
"My sister is... Lila. I'm Deliliah by the way." She said back, "I want you to stay away from Adrien because Adrien is not meant for you, he's meant for Lila."
I froze when she said that. I should have known that Lila was up to something.
"Did you tell Lila that you saw me transform into Ladybug?!" I yelled.
"Why would I do such a thing? If she ever knows, then she found out from the news." Deliliah said with a smirk.
"WHY WOULD YOU TELL THE NEWS MY SECRET IDENITITY?!"
"One, because I can and 2, because I wanted to."
"That is NOT a good reason!"
"To be honest, I had no reason to do it. I just wanted to. But a deal is a deal I guess; I'll tell you who Monarch is."
"Who is he?!"
"But I don't trust you..."
Anger started to rise in me when she said that. SHE CAN'T TRUST ME TO TELL ME WHO MONARCH IS?! WHAT DOES SHE MEAN BY THAT!
