Kirishima was already sitting at one of the corner booths when Y/N arrived.
When he spotted her, he jumped up immediately to wave her over. His red hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail and he was wearing that same gray hoodie as last time. "Red! Over here!" He shouted, and several other patrons jumped a bit at his booming voice. He didn't seem to notice... or care.
She shifted all of the things she was carrying over onto her hip so she could give him a small wave, but when he noticed she was struggling, he marched over to take it from her. "What's all this? Am I signing my life away?" He teased. He lifted her things like it was nothing. Super strength? Red wondered, Or is he just ripped? Should've googled his quirk...
"It's a contract," She reminded him. "I wrote it up last night."
Once Kirishima set her things down at the table he flipped through the contract with a laugh. "You mean you wrote all of this last night? I take it you like paperwork."
"How else does anything get done?" Red argued. "Paperwork keeps things running smoothly. Especially with independent businesses."
Kirishima sat down across from her and put his arm up on the backrest. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't impressed with her work ethic. "You'd like my partner. He's super picky about paperwork. I usually have to redo it, like, four times before he accepts it."
"Hm. Sounds like he knows what he's doing."
"Definitely more than I do," He said with a grin. "Oh! I grabbed a tea menu for you. You like tea, right? If not I can go grab the coffee one real fast-"
"The tea menu sounds lovely. Thank you." She took the outstretched menu and pursed her lips as she read. He remembered that she liked tea?
Eijirou watched her intently and twiddled one of her fancy pens in his fingers. Red's mannerisms were gentle and calculated- almost the complete opposite of him. Everything she said sounded thought out. Meaningful. Even her appearance seemed coordinated to a T; the accessories and clothes paired perfectly, and her hair... damn, she was pretty as a picture. He chewed on his bottom lip as he examined her. So pretty.
He suddenly wished he'd put a little more effort into his appearance. Dammit, Kirishima.
Red set down her menu and pulled the contract over to her side, licking the pad of her finger in order to thumb through the pages. Was she always this serious and calculated? Maybe she was a lot like Katsuki... but a graceful, prettier version.
It was Kirishima's favorite kind of person-- it was always so fun to figure out the best way to tease.
"This arrangement is going to be a bit different from my other clients."
Kirishima's eyes widened a bit before he leaned forward and put his chin in his hands to smile at her. "Oh yeah? How so?" He tilted his head playfully as he spoke. He definitely liked the idea of being a different arrangement, whatever that meant.
"I still have that connection I told you about before."
"Ah." So that's what she meant by 'different arrangement.' "You're still not supposed to work with me then, huh?"
She nodded. "So this... our interactions, our sessions... they need to stay secret."
"Fine by me. I like secrets," He said with a wink.
Red rolled her eyes a bit but Kirishima spotted the tiny smile she tried to hide. "I mean it. Even this is probably too dangerous," She retorted, gesturing to the windows of the coffee shop. "This is the last time we can meet up in a public place. From here on out everything will have to be behind closed doors. Understood?"
