Recap: Before anyone can say anything, the screen in front of them turns fog gray with the silhouette of a ship sailing forwards...
Through the fog, a ship appears and a young girl is visible on the deck standing to the right of the bowsprit singing:
Drink up, me hearties, yo ho
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot

A pirates life for me
We extort, we pilfer we filch, we sack
Drink up --
The girl cuts herself off with a gasp when someone grabs her shoulder, turning her around to face a younger Mr Gibbs.
Flabbergasted faces all turn to face Gibbs "Ye were part of the Royal Navy!" Jack- sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow yelled out.
"I was so surprised to see you again on the Pearl when we met again," Elizabeth says.
"How in the seven seas did that happen?" Questions Barbossa, curious as to how a pirate had become part of the Royal Navy.
"Uh well..." Gibbs stutters due to the attention "I hadn't been finding much treasure so I decided to try my luck with something else. Didn't last long I'll tell you that."
"Quiet, missy! Cursed pirates sail these waters. You don't want to bring them down on us now do you?"
"Mr Gibbs that will do." a young James Norrington says harshly, causing Mr Gibbs to turn around.
"She was singing about pirates! Bad luck to be singing about pirates with us mired in this unnatural fog. Mark my words"
"Consider them marked," Norrington replies, "On your way."
"Aye Lieutenant. It's bad luck to have a woman on board too. Even a miniature one," Gibbs walks off, taking a swig from his flask.
"Wait, Norrington there that day and already a Lieutenant and you're father wanted you to marry him. He's so much older than you!" Will exclaims in shock, not having realized the massive age difference between his wife and James.
"Um, well..." James attempts, looking around uncertainty wondering how on Earth he can explain himself.
"I think it'd be rather exciting to meet a pirate." Elizabeth speaks up.
"Think again Miss Swann. Vile and dissolute creatures the lot of them. I intend to see to it that any man who sails under a pirate flag or wears a pirate brand gets what he deserves. A short drop and a sudden stop."
Confused, Elizabeth looks over to Mr Gibbs who pretends to hang himself, causing her to gasp in shock when she realizes what Norrington.
