chapter 2: Wednesday's child full of woe

I wake up in the early morning. I get up to see a clock saying 5:30. " Hmm, the earlier the better I guess." I say as I morph into my regular clothes.( You look how you want to. Or you can wear Alex's jacket with a red under shirt instead of white.)" At least the voices stopped.... For now" I turned my head to see Enid and Wednesday sleeping. Not wanting to disturb then I slow and quietly make my way to the door.As I reach my hand to the door. Wednesday got up and looked at me.

Wednesday:" what are you doing?" She asked.

Y/n:" leaving." I say.

Wednesday:" hmm" she says laying back down.

Y/n:' that's not weird at all.' I think, as I unlock the door. Going through I was greeted with halls and lights off only the sun eliminating the way. I walked until I met a set of doors that led to the outside of the dorm. I opened and walked through, I was met by a bright light of the sun. Squinting a little for my eyes to adjust themselves for the light, I walked around everywhere to see where the classes are and when. I look at my hand to see pieces of biomass shape into a clock onto my wrist. Showing the time it was 6:00" already" I say as I began to walk some more, as I reached the doors that led outside principle Weems stopped me.

Principle Weems:" where do you think you're going young man?" She asked.

Y/n:" umm to walk on the road or at least get some snacks." I say.

Principle Weems:" well mister Mercer I am to inform you that students cannot just walk away. They must have permission from teachers or school faculty. And that visits to Jericho are a privilege not a right and the locals are very weary of nevermore and I would not want them to think more of us." She said.

Y/n:" ok, I understand principle Weems." I say 'i am definitely gonna go.' I think to myself.

Principle Weems:" hmm good. Now before I go, I forgot to ask what type of outcast are you?" She asked.

Y/n:" umm a" thinking quickly i just chose." A vampire?"'nailed it'.

Principle Weems:" well Mr. Mercer you being in the sun says otherwise." She said.

Looking up I see the sun.

Y/n:"yes... Well um I am half."
I say still continuing to look at the sun.

Principle Weems:" hmm halfbreeds are rare, the ones I have seen have had both the parents traits especially the weaknesses but you are different." She said as she looked at me curiously

Y/n:" well I guess you can say I am just different." I say ' why did I say that.' I think.

Principle Weems:" well I will bother you no longer have a nice day." She smiled and walked away.

Y/n:" hmmm what to do, what to do? A. Leave for a bit or B. Stay until school starts." Thinking for a bit. " Well A it is." I say as I open the doors to see a gate that open up to a road.
" Yelp time to go for a walk a very enthusiastic walk." I say smiling a bit.

I walked to the gates, pushing them they didn't budge trying again,nothing. "welp all hope is lost". I say as I walked back then running into the gates jumping over it. "Made it." I began to walk, as I was was walking I remembered the guy that was murded and thinking how I put his finger in a middle finger. ' that was hilarious. ' I think" but more importantly what the hell did that." I have seen my fair share of monsters but this is way to intelligent for others he put his arm through a branch for crying out loud. I continue to walk until I meet a small sign saying Jericho the way. " Might as well get something." I say as I walked to the town. Some people looked at me with strange looks trying to see if I am from nevermore or not. Ignoring the looks I walk to a coffee shop. "Weathervane cake and coffee shop......This place looks nice." I say opening the door I was greeted with some looks and a few tables empty. " Nice." I say sitting to a table close to the doors a few seconds of waiting, a man approached me. Then a teenager with with brown hair and a red apron approached me.
