I stare at Demino but he wasn't staring at me anymore he was staring behind me. I couldn't fight up the courage to turn around. I haven't seen him since that night.
"Need something?" Dominic asks and I shutter at the closeness of him. I hate him. Is it hot in here? I don't think I can breathe.
I hear him walk away and it's as if was given room to breathe. I hold onto Demino. "Don't leave me, I need you," I mumble under my breath.
"I'm not leaving you ever. I promise." I don't know if I should believe him though, he's made a lot of promises before, and a lot of them he hasn't kept. He holds onto my hand and walks me toward the door right before he kisses the top of my head like I did this morning to him.
We never got to talk about anything, I don't think we ever will. But something in me is telling me we need to or else nothing will change.
Wow. I look around and it's gorgeous. It's like a castle. Everything inside is so perfect you would never think the people at the party are dangerous. But since one of the people here is my father I would say they might be worse than dangerous.
I look at Demino and realize he's already looking at me. I smile, "It's so gorgeous don't you think?" I ask.
"Yes," He says and doesn't look away from me, which makes me think he wasn't talking about the mansion. I smile brighter at the thought. Gorgeous.
We walk more into the room and it gets better and better every second. We walk to a table it has a sign on it that says The Demino Family. Demino.
When we sit down a man comes up to our table. He looks nice, not better than my husband but nice. Well dressed, nice hair definitely better than some people here. "Mr. Demino and Mrs. Demino, glad you could make it." Mrs. Demino, normally a woman wouldn't want devil as their last name but it fits for how far I came to get that last name.
I look at Demino and I notice he's smiling too. I laugh and he looks at me finally. "What? Did I say something wrong, I'm sorry if I offended you." He says quickly and Demino does his dark stare that normally scares people away. It drawled me in but we don't need to talk about that.
"You should laugh more it makes me horny at the sound of it." He says and kisses my cheek. I've realized since I broke down in front of him that he won't kiss me.
"I know that's why I don't do it in front of you," I say and try to bite back a smile to show my seriousness. I'm a bad liar obviously. His smile drops and glares at me, I attempt to not burst out laughing.
"Names?" Is he serious? I roll my eyes.
I look up and see people dancing, like the fancy dancing that I thought only happened in the movies. I stare back at Demino and start my puppy eyes, "Will Mr. Demino dance with me, pretty please?" I beg.
"I will if you tell me who you're laughing with to get in their pants." He thought I was serious about that. I laugh again and get up.
"If you won't I'm sure someone else here will." I start to walk away not even getting a foot away from the table I feel his arms around my waist. I stare over and see my father. I won't let him ruin my night. I was having a good time.
"If you ever let anyone but me touch you like this I will kill them and then fuck you in their blood." He says and I probably shouldn't be turned on by this but I am.
I somehow speak up, "Is that a yes?" I move my mouth closer to his. He rolls his eyes and steps even closer to me, he's acting as if there aren't a thousand people around us. In my eyes, it's only me and him.
