Sakura had wide eyes as she stared at her name on the board, a bunch of people gave her bewildered looks for her language but she didn't care. Sasuke was meant to fight Gaara. Sakura didn't want to accidentally kill the boy. Gaara is strong, but Sakura is stronger at this stage.

Kakashi sweat dropped at her look. When they finished, Kakashi appeared next to Sakura. "I already taught you a good move you could use." He said, giving her a knowing look which she caught. He was talking about the Chidori. She nodded and Sasuke raised an eyebrow.

To be frank, Sakura didn't know what the hell she was going to do for the next month. They were escorted out of the arena and back to Konoha. Sakura looked down at her bandaged hand and grit her teeth, clenching her fist as a spiking pain goes through her neck.

'What about Sasuke's development. He may not have the curse mark but he could still defect from Konoha.' Obito pointed out, making Sakura internally groan. 'Then I will drag his ass back.' Sakura replied, walking down the paths of Konoha, her hands shoved in her pockets.

Suddenly, someone jumps on her back. She stumbles for a second before holding the legs of the person behind her. "Hey Sakura!" Ino said from her back as Shikamaru and Choji walk up behind her. "Oh, hey Ino." Sakura smiled back and Ino raised an eyebrow. "Are.. you okay?" Ino asked, getting down and looking at Sakura concerned.

"Yeah.. just tired." Sakura groaned. Shikamaru sighed as he looked at Sakura. Suddenly, Sasuke walked over. Sakura raised an eyebrow. 'Where did he come from?' She thought, looking at him as he stopped in-front of Ino and Sakura. Ino went on her tip toes and threw an arm over Sakura's shoulder with difficulty, making Sakura hold back a snort, supporting the girl by holding her waist.

"Hi Sasuke!" Sakura greeted the brooding boy, who nodded at her before glaring at Ino. The girl in question sent him a taunting smirk. "Sakura. We have a team meeting." Sasuke informed and Sakura raised an eyebrow. She wasn't told. "Really? Bakashi-Sensei didn't mention it." Sakura hummed and Ino tilted her head innocently, smiling.

"Yeah Sasuke, Kakashi didn't mention that." Ino mocked, her voice laced with mirth as she watches Sasuke's face twist into a sour expression. "Well, he did." Sasuke said, grabbing Sakura's arm and snatching her from Ino, who stumbled at the sudden loss of Sakura. "Let's go." He ordered, dragging Sakura.

"W-Wait! Ugh- Bye Ino! Bye Shikamaru and Choji!" Sakura waved as Sasuke drags her down the path. Ino waved as well as Shikamaru and Choji. Ino huffed, glaring at Sasuke who looked back and smirked hauntingly. She growled. She was prepared to smack that smug smirk off his annoyingly beautiful face.

"Sasuke, what was that about?" Sakura asked, confused. He just grunted. "Let's get some food." He replied. "What about the team meeting.?-" She asked. "Hn. There is no team meeting." He mumbled. "Huh-?" She said confused as he dragged her into a BBQ restaurant.

She looked at him in confusion as he drags her into a booth. A waiter comes over and smiles at them. "What can I get you?" He asked and Sakura looked at Sasuke. This was all a bit sudden. 'Ooo, Sakura-chan's on a date!' Obito cheered in her mind. Sakura glared at him in her head before turning to Sasuke. "Y-you can choose." Sakura mumbled, playing with her fingers.

In her past life, a lot of boys would ask her out on dates and give her gifts for valentines. She was a village favourite. But she never had actually been on an actual date. Sasuke ordered for them and the waiter walked away. "So, why did you drag me here?" Sakura asked and Sasuke looked at her. "We're hanging out." He mumbled and Sakura nodded.

So it wasn't a date, she didn't know how to feel about that. "How do you feel about fighting Gaara?" Sasuke asked, starting conversation which surprised Sakura. "Oh, uhm. I'm sure I could win." Sakura smiled and Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "You sound confident." He noted and Sakura nodded.
