He's held on to the memories, of love and of pain.
But in the end, he's unable to let go, and the pain remains.
He walks the road to freedom, but his heart is still bound.
To the love he's lost, and the wounds that he's found.
He tries to embrace the present, but the past lingers on.
A man learning to let go, but the journey is never done.
The pain lingers, a constant ache.
A love that's unrequited, a love that's at stake.
A man learning to let go, but the end is uncertain.
