Looking back, I'd say that was the most boringest day of my life. Turns out that black dragon is, *involuntarily shudders*, my father. NO LIE. That black creep doesn't even let my mother rest. Soon as she returns bringing the most big, fat creature she can find, he sends her out AGAIN to hunt while HE eats the ENTIRE creature not even letting us, his own hatchlings, have ANY. It's a miracle we survived, like the Ancients (Mother Earth, Father Sky, Water, Fire, and Air) had compassion on us.
At some random point, he would leave the cave to go destroy things, which means we were finally allowed playtime, and if our mother did return, We'd get to eat. Playtime really never helped me any, since his personality had rubbed off on them and any Time I tried to play with them they'd say, "Go away weakling. We should have crushed you right when we hatched. You're nothing but a rotten egg."
Having gotten less food then them, they grew faster then me, and were soon learning to fly. I would stand outside the cave watching them, envying them the whole time. a few days go by of me watching low and behold, who should come back? Yes, you guessed right. "The High and Mighty" Scalduin (a/n felt wrong taking Skyrims Alduin so I changed it up just a little). one of my siblings had flown right into him. "What are you all doing outside of the cave?!? He roared. Before Anstretta could fly away from him, he grabbed her in his jaws and crushed the life out of her. Her shiny gold scales never looked so dull when he dropped her lifeless body the some-odd miles down to the ground. "IF I EVER CATCH YOU ALL OUTSIDE OF THE CAVE AGAIN I WILL NOT HESITATE TO DO THE SAME TO YOU!" He roared. Hastily, we were all wings and tails scrambling into the now very cramped cave to get away from him. Me being the smallest, they shoved me right back out as if to say, 'kill him first!' Naturally, after I did get in the cave, he had to squeeze his great bulk into the cave after us making it even more cramped. 'could this get any worse?' I thought.
