"Is it genetic?"

"No, but they guessed it's mixed with his career and stress. The doctor did some tests and determined it might be Leukemia." Jimin explained as they looked at the sleeping blonde on the bed.

Tears formed in Jin's eyes as he grabbed onto Namjoon's arm, who grabbed it back before answering.

"Is there a way it could get better?"

"Yes, but it would require Taehyung to go on hiatus or just take it easy. If he were to not take it carefully, it could get worse."

"I can't believe it though," Jin stammered, his eyes finally looking back at Jimin, "why would something like this happen to him?"

"Well...in my opinion, I think it all started with the couple scandal." Scoffing, the leader rolled his eyes.

"I need to seriously talk to Jungkook. He's gotten really harsh lately and I'm not having it." Looking over at Taehyung, he sighed, "It's tearing this family apart."

With his back facing towards the door and the night sky lighting his room, a knock presented itself before it opened, not letting the blonde answer before it was closed.

"Taehyung? Sweetie, are you ok?"

"Please leave Jiyeon, I'm not in the mood."

"I know babe, but you need to stop ignoring them." Feeling the bed shift, he turned around to see her being dressy as usual before he placed his head on her lap.

"Why do I have to have fucking Leukemia? Why couldn't I just get sick from something else?"

"I don't know Taebear, but that's just how life runs." She whispers, soon hearing as he started to cry for the third time today.

"I just want to be happy, why can't the world see that?"

"Look, I'm sorry Hyung-"

"Sorry's not going to fucking cut it. I've had enough of your shenanigans and it's starting to affect this family." Namjoon scolded, watching as Jungkook dropped his head before he went on.

"You and Taehyung used to be glued to each other's sides since debut, yet here we are getting terrible news, dealing with you both fighting and bleeding, and then on top of that if really needed, you go away as if it's not a big deal when it really fucking is!" He shouts, his arms crossed over his pecked chest as he saw a slight shiver go down the younger's spine.

"B-but I didn't intend for that to happen."

"Oh really? So you didn't intend on talking it out with Taehyung? You didn't intend on coming to me and talking about it? You didn't intend on seeing just how much this family would crash and burn all because of one thing that could've been discussed? Cause clearly that didn't go through your brain enough before you hit up a girl and got the whole world to know about it first before your group, who by the way can't stand to take your side when your actions speak more than the words you even speak of." The older coldly responded, his eyes watching as the younger started to break down.

"I-I'm so sorry Hyung, I'm so fucking sorry."

"Sorry won't cut it," Namjoon states as he gets up from his seat behind his desk, "which is why both me and the staff have agreed that you are temporarily suspended and you will not be able to leave the apartment until further notice." Looking up with wide teary eyes, Jungkook started to slightly shake.

"Y-you can't do that!?"

"The hell I can, and until you come back to your senses, you won't be able to leave unless it comes from me or Pd Nim himself. Do I make myself clear?" Crying harder, the younger just nodded before he dashed out of the office, not hearing as Namjoon sighed before he plopped back down onto his chair.

"I need a drink."

"Thank you for the food Jin! I'll try to come back tomorrow to check on Tae!" Jiyeon shouted as she went to make her way to the front door, but gasped when a strong body hit her, causing her to almost fall if she didn't grab onto the wall.

"The heck-" she mumbled as she grabbed onto the person's arms, but widened her eyes when she saw, "Jungkook? Why are you-" before she could answer, the boy fell limp in her grip, causing her to quickly hold him tighter before she placed her arm around his waist.

"Let's get you to your room."

Panting, she finally got him on his bed while the whole time they made it to his room he was quiet as sniffles fell from his nose.

"Now," getting on the bed next to him, she turned his body to face hers before she grabbed his hands while his head was still down, "what's wrong?"

"I..." he started, tears going back down his face, "I messed up Jiyeon, and I thought...I thought my decision would be ok, but it ended up destroying all of us and I didn't even know it." He uttered, his eyes finally meeting hers to let her see the true regret in his eyes.

"Aw baby, it was bound to happen," placing one of her hands on his cheek, she sighed as she slightly rubbed it, "when you have a family as big as this and you keep something like you and Lisa, especially from Taehyung, it's going to break their hearts."

"B-but I thought I could finally make a decision on my own and finally show them I've grown up."

"And it probably would've worked, but it's the way that you did it that didn't allow it to sit well." Looking into his eyes, the brunette frowned before she went to say something, but watched as he went to speak first.

"H-how are you even in here right now? Why haven't you beaten the shit out of me like the rest want to do?" The raven mumbled, seeing as she sighed.

"Jungkook," she paused, her head turning to look for something in the room before she spotted it, causing her to smile before she got up to grab it and show him, "we've been best friends just as long as me and Taehyung, maybe our friendship was shorter by 3 years, but we still hung out during your debut years and were the goofy knuckleheads everyone knew us as." Recalling the memories, the raven chuckled as he went to look at the picture.

"And if I'm being totally honest Gguk, I know that inside of you," she started, her finger lightly pointing at his chest, "there's a part of you that wants to go back to what you and Tae had."

"B-b-but, I'm not into him like that, not anymore."

"Is it because of that thing you and me discussed a while back?"
