The living room sat in silence as the 6 men including Jiyeon, who was sitting next to a tired Jungkook, were all sitting on the couch.

Before they sat down earlier, none of them noticed the blonde that stood upstairs, watching the whole thing go down with wide eyes before he went back to his room, not wanting anyone to notice him watching before he quickly shut his door.

"...Kook, there are some things we need to discuss." Jin finally spoke as he came to the couch, giving the tired boy some tea before he sat next to Namjoon, who agreed with what he said.

"First off, we want to say how sorry we are for treating you so rudely. We didn't know what type of person Lisa was to you." Yoongi started, his eyes looking straight into the younger's soul as he stared at nothing but the floor.

"Second off, we need to know what's going on. With you crying so much that Jiyeon got involved and you being terrified to stand up against Lisa, there's something you're hiding from us and this isn't the Jungkook we all know." Namjoon added, watching as the boy finally picked up his head, showing his scared eyes before he shook his head quickly.

"I-I can't, it'll get us in trouble." He stuttered, his eyes going over to Jiyeon to see her nod before she looked at the others.

She went on to explain the story herself, feeling Jungkook continue to sulk beside her as she watched the older men in the room widen their eyes.

"So it's true, you were with Taehyung," Hoseok mumbled, but watched as Jungkook nodded.

"I loved him Hyungs, I genuinely did, but they forced me to leave him."

"So why don't you try and make up for it instead of being a complete douche about it?" Yoongi asked, a slight glare forming in his eyes when really and truly, his heart ached at the boy's sadness.

"Cause I feel like he'll just think I'm faking it or staff-nim will find out and get us in trouble!" The maknae shouts, tears flowing down his cheeks as his chest huffs up and down, feeling Jiyeon's hand goes to his chest before pulling him towards her own.

"Look, Jungkook wasn't trying to be a jackass, we all know that now, but he's trying his best to not only keep their careers but keep Taehyung safe from the things he's already gone through. So please, understand what he's going through right now instead of accusing him under the sun like everyone else." She scolded, watching all the heads in front of her look down while she felt her best friend silently sob on her chest.

Focusing on his computer, a small cough left the boy's lips that only made him scoff, a frown going on his face as he continued to look at the screen in front of him.

Downstairs settled down 2 hours ago after he heard Jungkook's big outburst, which surprised him after he heard what he said.

Is it true? Is he really trying to protect me?

He shook it away though, knowing good and well this is one of Jungkook's little shows so he can get what he wants; pathetic.

But as he finally found what he was looking for, a knock presented itself to him, causing him to groan before he slammed his computer shut.

"Come in." The blonde said in an irritated tone, but watched as the door opened, revealing a shy Jungkook as he softly smiled at him before closing the door behind him.

"Hi,"

"Hey, what do you want?"

"Can't I just come in to check on you?" Jungkook asked, but earned a scoff from Taehyung as he looked away from the younger.

"Sounds more like I need to check on you." Nervously chuckling, the younger walked over to the bed, his eyes going over to the older as if to ask for permission to sit on it, which he got before he sat down in front of the other.

"Taehyung, there's some things I really can't explain to you right now, mostly for your safety, but because it could get me in a lot of trouble."

"Oh please, and I'm pretty sure that little stunt you pulled with Lisa coming in and her "breaking up" with you is all fake. Am I right?" Coldy chuckling, the blonde goes to look at the raven only to see not only shock, but a bit of hurt in the expression he gave him, which made him slightly widen his eyes before he cleared his throat.

"You watched it all happen?"

"Well...yeah, she made a big fucking scene and I had to see what was happening." Taehyung answered, his voice a bit quieter than how he answered earlier as his head was faced towards the small window in his dark room.

With the sounds of the night bird chirping and Jin's rattling of pans downstairs, the room grew to an uncomfortable silence before Taehyung cleared his throat again.

"Are you ok though? It sounded bad." It was Jungkook's turn to chuckle as he went to look down at his hands.

"Yeah, I guess. Lisa has always been a whiny bitch and never left me alone, but I could never get rid of her because of the staff."

"The staff?" The older asked, his head turning quickly to the younger to see him slowly nod, his head not looking up at the other as he continued to play with his hands.

"The whole breakup thing with you and me, the couple thing with me and Lisa, it was all the staff's idea. I never...I didn't want..." Trying to hold back a sob, the raven finally lifted his head up to the older, the blonde getting a good view of the night sky shining on the boy's tears as they fell down his round cheeks.

"I-I never meant to hurt you Taehyungie. You were my everything."

"B-but, you broke up with me after my birthday-"

"I didn't want to, b-but they forced me to." The raven croaked, sniffles filling the room's silence as he didn't care how he looked in front of the stunned male.

"Kook-"

"P-please, I'm so sorry. I want to do anything to make up for it. I-I'm just," collapsing in Taehyung's lap, the blonde gasped as Jungkook sobbed, "I'm just so fucking tired of it all. I want it all to stop."

"I-I'm here Kook, don't worry." Taehyung mumbled, his hands hesitately patted the younger's back, but softly smiled when he felt him relax in his hold.

What the hell truly happened that I never noticed?
