I have always been fond of rain. But days like this when I forget to carry my umbrella, I consider it to be worst. All I wanted to do was just get back to my apartment, take a hot shower and snuggle into a warm blanket.
I found it hard to detect the route I had to take. The parks were gone, the houses were upgraded everything's changed. I couldn't help but to miss the old days where I would be laughing and playing with my friends in the same park where now stands a cafe.
Before I knew, my feet dragged me along to the short line formed in front of the cashier. Giving my order for a hot chocolate as it would help me keep myself warm. I looked around and found it quite cute and cozy.
"Here's your hot chocolate" said the guy passing me a sunshine smile. While paying the same guy asked if I would like to have a fortune cookie. I took one, thanking them, keeping it in my pocket. I walked out of the cafe and noticed it stopped raining.
Continuing my journey I came across a few kittens playing by the side of the road. I stop to admire them. While petting I was startled seeing a pair of shoes by my side. Looking up I saw the same almond eyes staring deep into my doe ones.
