God why does it have to be so cold today. Well it doesn't matter, at least I'm not sick, that's a miracle. It doesn't matter anyway, if I was sick, my mother would still have forced me to come to school, the worst of all is that the uniform doesn't help me at all to fight the cold.

Hey, now that I remember today I had a new classmate, if I'm not mistaken he was from the capital, he could have stayed there, there are better schools and the odd job opportunity, or at least I think it would be better to live in the capital than here in Oaxaca. Anyway, another morning begins in the hell of this school.

As soon as I entered the classroom I thought: Where the hell is Sofía?. She can't leave me alone in a situation like this. Well, it's not really because of that situation, it's because Julian didn't come because he had the flu, now who am I going to hang out with during the break?

After that little mental crisis, I sat in my place and grabbed my book from my backpack, I am currently reading "La ladrona de la luna" by Claudia Ramirez Lomeli. There is one minute left until classes start, I don't even know why I took out the book, it won't even give me time to complete reading a page, oh God and Sofia still hasn't shown up.

Ok, in summary, today a new classmate joins the classroom and now I have Spanish classes, the class just started and after five minutes the door opened and I was praying for only one thing, that it was Sofia or Julian or even both. Well, it wasn't either of the two things, it was the principal of the school with our new classmate. I'm scared, since he looks like the typical guy who makes fun of "weird" people and I think it would make a lot of sense if he made fun of me, since I recently openly declared myself a lesbian and it's possible that every time he sees me he goes to say "Look over there goes the Lencha" (Lencha is the word that is used to refer to lesbians in Mexico (Yeah in Hispanic countries people are kinda "unconfortable" using the word Lesbian)). I shouldn't be afraid, but that's what I felt.

"Bueno chicos como sabéis, hoy vuestro nuevo compañero Marcelo Octavio Acosta Morales se integrara a vuestra clase" Wow, it's the first time I hear that name, also, I'm not going to lie, he looks kind of attractive.Once Marcelo sat down in a free place, the principal left and we continued with the class until...

Sofia finally showed up, I think she even beat my record for being late to class. "Señorita Barroso Nuñez ¿Usted cree que estas son las horas en las que deberia entrar al aula? Salga afuera y quedese ahí hasta que la hora termine" Oh god, it's the first time that Mr. Lopez has thrown someone in class, or at least one of us, we all shared the same look of surprise. Thank God the class was short and Sofia was finally able to enter the classroom, but Mr. Lopez told her to come out to talk to her.

And while my friend was talking to the Spanish teacher, our new classmate Marcelo approached me, I was quite surprised, normally the popular ones are usually approached, referring to the popular ones because they are extroverts, but the popular ones are never approached first for being the smartest of the school year.

"Oye el director me dijo que me dijieras algunas indicaciones sobre esta escuela, dijo que eres bastante inteligente" I don't know why but the sound of his voice was pleasant to me. "Pues si es cierto, si quieres te puedo decir el horario" I felt nervous, oh god I'm not liking this. After a few minutes, Sofia was finally able to enter the classroom, she didn't seem to be in a good mood.
