rafael seemingly forgot to mention how his "friends" were two models by the names of not only audrey but a y/n, as well.
i don't know if i should strangle him now or later but we'll see how the night goes.
as we're making our way through the few people in front of us, i can immediately tell that it's 100% y/n now.
she seems to be going through her handbag but i know already that one look into her eyes and it's game over for me..
rafael starts to introduce himself to the the both of them and i honestly tune the greetings and small talk out of my head until i hear her angelic voice.
"hi rafael, it's nice to meet you!"
she says rather loudly over the blasting music and before i can even act upon anything, rafael ushers me into the booth and just happens to push me lightly onto y/n's side of the booth as he jumps to audrey's side from across us.
"awesome! and this is my best friend, joão félix!"
rafael says as he points in my direction gesturing to me, encouraging me to say something since i've barley spoken a word in the past 4 minutes.
"it's nice to officially meet you guys.."
how corny can i be? jesus.. but y/n and audrey both greet me back regardless of my awkward demeanor.
rafael then says something about ordering drinks but i can't help but to slightly stare at y/n in awe at the fact that 1) i'm sitting right beside her, 2) she looks absolutely beautiful tonight and 3) did i mention that i'm sitting right beside her?
i look away briefly to not make her feel uncomfortable since it's not intentional and agree on something that rafael said about drinks, i think?
