Chapter 11: Princess Practice

*that morning out on the athletic field the royal princesses of the Princessology class were being instructed by Her Majesty, The White Queen who is dressed in all white*

*the royal princesses included Apple, Ashlynn, Briar, Darling, Holly, Poppy, Duchess, Lizzie, Rosabella, Justine, and Raven*

*Apple, Ashlynn, and Briar sit together on a bench*

*Duchess and Lizzie sat on a bench*

*Holly, Poppy, and Blondie sit on a bench*

*Darling, Rosabella, and Justine are sitting on a bench*

*Raven is sitting alone*

*the White Queen addresses them*

White Queen: *to the princesses* Good morning, princesses...though I wonder, is it necessary to call a morning good? Does it go without saying that all mornings are good, for to be without a morning would be very bad indeed.

*the students except for Lizzie look in confusion*

Duchess: *sighs* (Did the White Queen have to be from Wonderland too. It was hard enough trying to hear Riddlish with Lizzie, but now with the White Queen...wonderful.)

Princesses: *in unison* Good morning.

Briar: *confused and lowers her crown sunglasses* What in Ever After are we doing out here?

Apple: *applies sunscreen* It's so very sunny outside. *proudly* I'm called the Fairest One of All because I'm literally the fairest.

*Duchess, Lizzie, and even Raven rolls their eyes*

White Queen: *to them* Taking care of your skin is a very princess thing to do. Now ladies, we are outside because our lesson cannot be held in a classroom.

Ashlynn: *calm* I'm so happy we're outside today. Are we going to take a walk through the woods? A deer told me that a new family of raccoons has moved in. Are we going to visit them?

*White Queen looks at Ashlynn with a disappointed expression*

White Queen: Ms. Ella, my dear. I appreciate your love of woodland critters, but a princess should never socialize with rodents. Alice made this mistake when she befriended the March Hare and the Doormouse...*she stares longingly* 

Lizzie: *sighs sadly*

Ashlynn: *concerned* But raccoons aren't rodents.

White Queen: *smiles* But of course they are. How silly of you not to know that. *she gives Ashlynn a pitiful look* A masked face does not hide the rodent that is inside.

*she address the other girls*

White Queen: *to them* Young ladies, the purpose of Princessology is to prepare you, the next generation of royal damsels, for your futures as queens.

*Lizzie and Raven glance at each other then at the White Queen in confusion*

White Queen: *continues* Therefore, we will be learning a variety of different skills. One of the most important is how to travel like a princess.

Apple: *excited* Ooh! I love to travel! Where are we going!

Justine: *smiles* I took a mermaid cruise once, it was so amazing.

Briar: *to the others* Have you guys ever charted a pegasus, it is so awesome.

White Queen: *solemn* Ladies, do not interrupt. *to them* We teach traditional values at Ever After High, and the most traditional way to travel is on horseback. Therefore, a princess should be a skilled equestrian.
