*a young Duchess wakes up in her room to find her feet had been turned into black webbed feet*
Duchess: *screams* GRANDMA!!!!
*her grandma rushes into their room and looks in shock as a young Duchess are sitting on the floor with black webbed feet*
Duchess- *worriedly* Grandma! What happened?!
Grandma- *she looks at her* My dear...this is only the beginning.
Duchess-*scared* The beginning of what? *pulls on her webbed feet worriedly* Take them off! Make them go away!
Grandma: *calmly* They will go away. *sincerely* Don't worry my dear. You will learn to control them. Now get ready for school, you don't want to be late. *she walks out*
Duchess: *looks at her feet in concern*
*a few minutes later Duchess run downstairs worriedly*
Duchess- *worried* They haven't gone away! I'm not going to school like this!
Grandma: *to them* A princess must be educated. Royalty must never be ashamed of who they are. You'll master the transformation...give it time.
*on the way to school Duchess was teased for her webbed feet*
Village Boy: *to others while teasing* She looks like a duck!
Village Girl: *teasing* She looks like an ugly duck!

*that afternoon Duchess ran home with her feet back to normal*
*over the year she grew taller, her legs turned skinner like a birds, she'd honk while laughing, and wake up with feathers*
