Roman had brought the strange being to the castle for testing. Roman walked through the halls to the infirmary. Once he walked in he immediately saw Logan. Logan hardly even looked up at him, "salutations your highness" he said calmly. Romans smiled, "Logan, I already told you that you don't have to call me that, we're friends" Roman replied
Logan simply nodded when a groan was heard from the bed on the other side of the room. Roman looked over to see the being he had brought back slowly open its eyes and sit up. As it began to look around Roman breath caught in his throat, his eyes....they looked like galaxies, they were purple but flicks of different colors throughout, some looked like stars, they were beautiful.
Its eyes landed on Romans, as it stared at him, it tilted its head slightly, it then looked at Logan, who had now took notice of it, he looked at him and slowly stood up, "greetings, my name is Logan, and this is Roman" he gestured to the prince, "is there something we can call you?" He asked softly as to not disturb the being
The being thought for a second before slowly nodding, "V-Vir-gil" Logan nodded, "well Virgil, do you know how you got here?" The being thought for a second before trying to speak English again, "s-sh-i-p m-mal-....." it let out a small hiss, "sh-i-p s-sto-pped wo-working" it managed to get out. Logan once again nodded and walked over to it
"Alright, I'm going to shine a light, I need you to fallow it with your eyes, okay?" It nodded. Logan turned the flashlight on in front of the beings face which made it hiss and move away, only to let out a yelp at the pain. Logan moved the light away, "its alright" he spoke softly, "I didn't mean to startle you, may I continue?" The being nodded again
-after Logan preformed some test-
"Well, it seems your healthy minus a few injuries but, they'll heal up quickly." Logan concluded. "Roman, do you mind putting some bandages on them while I go get some food and water?"
"Of course not" Roman smiled, and Logan nodded a quick 'thank you' as he walked out the door. Roman walked over, grabbing some bandages on his way over, and began to bandage it up. Roman couldn't feel its eyes on him the entire time, he slightly smiled, "enjoying the veiw?" He asked teasingly. His eyes flickered up to see the beings eyes go wide before looking away. "Its alright, I don't mind" Roman stated
"Hu-human?" It questioned. Roman nodded, "yup, that's what I am"
"Oh...."
"Do you not like humans?"
"N-no, j-just b-bad s-st-stories"
Roman nodded, "is there certain pronouns you want me to use for you?" He asked, "p-pro-nou-ns?"
"Yeah like, he/him, she/her, they/them" Roman only got a head tilt in return, "do-do you not know what those are?" He asked. The being nodded, "okay...so, I'll just call you any"
"O-ok-ay" he said. Roman smiled and looked up and him, he was slightly blushing.
