It was the day of the ball, everyone was rushing around trying to get ready. Remus had helped Virgil get ready. Only a few hours later the ball started, Virgil waited until everyone was there when he walked over to Remus, "w-wh-o R-ro-man n-ot l-li-ke?" Virgil asked.

Remus have him a confused look before looking around and pointing at a man dressed in black and white, he had a cocky smirk on his face, he had a strong build, about 6'10. Virgil smiled, "th-tha-nk y-you!" He then walked over to the guy and lightly tapped him. The man looked over and smiled, "ah, you must be that being I've heard so much about" he said, Virgil nodded.

The man bowed and kissed Virgils hand making him giggle, "well then, welcome to earth, I'm prince Elijah" the man said. Virgil smiled brightly, "V-Vir-gil" he replied. The man gave him a almost pitted look, "still can't speak English very well?" He asked, Virgil nodded. "That's alright, I could help" just then a song came on, the man smirked and bowed once again, reaching a hand out, "may I have the please of having this dance with you?" Virgil gave him a sheepish look, "d-do-n't kn-ow h-ow t-to da-nc-e" he said.

"Thats alright, I can teach you" Virgil smiled and took his hand only to be swept in close to his chest. Virgil let out a small squeak at the action before trying to fallow along to the music. Across the ball room was Roman, Emily stuck to his side as much as he hated it. Their parents cooed at how cute they looked together. When Roman noticed Virgil dancing with prince Elijah, his blood began to boil.

Its a bit complicated to explain how they got to hating each other so much but in short, Elijah had done some pretty fucked up things that heavily effected Roman and his people. And now here he was trying to steal Virgil, he turned to Emily, "I have to go, I'll be right back" he muttered up a smile befriend walking away to go confront him.

Roman walked over and crossed his arms, "Elijah, what do you think your doing with Virgil?" He hissed out. Elijah looked over and simply smirked, "Roman! Its been such a long time, how have this been holding up?" Roman rolls his eyes. "Enough, answer the question"

Elijah rolled his eyes, "he came up to me and wanted to dance and besides, if you truly cared enough to be with him you wouldn't have left him to be taken by someone else" he smirked and gave him a challenging look.

Roman looked at Virgil, "is this true? Did you really come over to him?" Virgil nodded, Roman sighed, "okay, fine just, be careful with him" he then walked away. Virgil smiled, it seems his plain was working like a charm.....
