Cw: Remus being a bad influence (again), alcohol, jealousy, cursing

Virgils gaze swept over the dance floor, looking for the prince on his mind. "Who are you looking for, kitty?" Elijah asked. He scrunched his nose at the undesirable nickname, he only wanted one person to call him that. Virgil smiled kindly, "n-no o-on-e" he responded as he found the familiar red sash accompanied by pale blue of her dress. A ferrous heat of jealously pulled in his chest.
He forced the hiss of annoyance down his throat, he smiled once again, "I a-m g-go-i-ng t-to ge-t a drink" he said before walking off, his tail swishing angerly behind him.
Virgil walked to the drinking table, eyes glancing around to see what may look interesting when he heard a familiar voice, "whatca looking for?" Remus asked, Virgil sighed, "s-om-e-th-in-g to m-ma-ke d-an-cin-g wi-th a-ss-ho-le, ea-sy-er" Remus laughed before pouring him a drink of something that smelled weird before handing it to him, "this will help you"
Virgil raised a brow but, took it and sniffed it, he suddenly seeming to choke on the smell, Remus chuckles, "its better if you don't do that, just try it"
Virgil took a sip before began to cough, "w-wh-at i-s th-at?!" He demanded, Remus laughed a bit, "its a human thing, it accustom to have it at parties, especially a party like this. It helps to get in the zone and for you to have fun, its a bit strong at first but, you get used to it." As if to prove his point Remus got some for himself and chugged it, Virgils watched curiously before trying it again. 'If its a human custom then, I shouldn't disrespect that. I'm supposed to make peace with what species I run into' Virgil thought so, he drank it......
-time skip-
Virgil had drunken about 4 of those odd drinks and, it turns out, Remus was actually telling the truth although, it did make him feel weird, he felt dizzy. His whole body felt warm and fuzzy. He stumbled over to Elijah, giggling "h-he-y *hic* E-El-ij-ah" he he wrapped his arms around him, Elijah immediately held onto him, Virgil squinted his eyes at him, "y-ou *huc* lo-ok l-li-ke a-n *hic a-ss, l-li-ke, a *hic* m-me-an h-hu-man" Virgil slurred out, "w-wh-e-res Ro?" He asked getting off of him.
"W-what?" Elijah asked, "are you drunk?" Virgil shrugged, "I d-do-n't e-ev-en k-kn-ow wh-at th-at me-ans" he said before spotting Roman, his ears perked up and his tail started to twitch happily as he rushed over to him, he pushed Emily out of the way before throwing himself on Romans chest, "Ro!" He explained, rubbing his head again Romans chest, letting out happy purrs, "I mi-ss-ed y-ou!"
"Excuse you!!" Emily yelled, Virgil flinched before hissing at her, "n-ot y-ours h-is m-in-e!" Virgil hissed out, grabbing onto him protectively. This caused everyone to look what the commotion was. Roman held onto Virgil. "Okay you two," he started, "first, I'm not anyone's and second, Virgil, why do I smell alcohol? Have you been drinking?" He asked, narrowing his eyes, Virgil shrugged, "Re-mu-s g-av-e me so-me dr-ink an-d sa-id to dr-ink it" Virgil said, Roman sighed, "of course he did well, let's get you to bed so you can rest, okay?" Roman said, smiled softly at him, ignoring everyone staring at them. "W-il-l y-ou j-oi-n me?" Virgil asked, looking at him hopefully, Roman smiled and nodded, "of course I will now, come on"
Roman walked him to his room, helping him change and laying him down, as well as himself, he slips in next to Virgil, who immediately cuddled up against him, purring, his tail wrapped around Romans leg. Roman smiled and kissed the top of his head, "sleep tight my little space kitten" he whispered. They both quickly fell asleep, complaining content with this. Maybe in the morning they will talk about what happened today but for now, they happily slept, enjoying each others warmth
