"sss" he hissed at the pain of the cloth on his wound.
"sorry" i mumbled out.
sam got him a glass of water setting it down on the table beside him. "okay i'm gonna need to give you stitches okay?" i warned.
he put his hand on my thigh as a stress ball.
i began to thread the needle through as he squeezed my thigh tightly. once i was done he looked up at me.
"i love you" he said.
i looked back at him with a small smile.
"and i'm so sorry for everything i've ever caused you. i'm so sorry" he said tears forming in his eyes.
"it's okay. i love you too" i said kissing his lips.
"gross" sam said from the kitchen.
colby proceeded to flip him off during the kiss which made me chuckle a bit.
"okay now what" i asked concerned about my father.
he paused and stared at me. "run away with me. i'll text your father and tell him the job is done. and we run away wherever you want" he said.
it wasn't a bad idea. "what about my sister" i asked.
"we can find her. make sure that she's safe" he said.
"okay deal" i said.
"yes let's get started. kat did so many looks on me with her makeup i'm basically a pro" sam remarked.
"yeah whatever brother" he said.
we stood up began to plan how we would figure this out.
i got some ketchup with some soy sauce to make the pigment darker like actual blood. i put it on my stomach hating the smell.
"this is disgusting" i said as i laid on the floor.
"shut up and act dead" colby said pulling his phone out.
i held my breath and laid my head back with my limbs just limp and out wherever.
after a few pictures, he finally hit send.
after a few minutes, his phone buzzed. it was my father.
"Good. Hide her body wherever you please. Make sure she CANNOT be found. Or else. I will send you your promised 10 million" he replied.
i let out a shaky breath as his words actually hurt.
"Yes sir." colby replied. he looked at me just staring blankly into the phone.
"it's gonna be over soon love" he said kissing my forehead.
i nodded and let out a breath i didn't know i was holding.
"go on and shower i'll be here if you need me" he said.
i got up and went to the bathroom and began to undress myself as i turned the water on.
as i got in i laid my head back letting the water run over my hair and face and down my body.
i've missed hot showers

i was finished and walked out in a towel to see colby and sam sitting on the couch. they looked up and sams face got red as he looked away.
"sam." colby said.
"IM NOT LOOKING I SWEAR" he said as he got up and blindly started running into things trying to find another room to go in.
"you know you could've called me to go in there to get you clothes" he said as i followed him into the room.
"yeah well i don't feel like screaming right now cause you know... i got kidnapped and all" i said.
"yeah yeah here" he said handing me a pair of leggings and a crew neck that read "sinner" on the front in red.
it smelled like him too. we walked back to the kitchen and i smelt a delicious smell hit my face.
"what is that?" i asked. "it's pasta" colby replied getting out a plate.
"it's not like how your mom made but it's something" he said smiling at me.
my heart fluttered at his words.
he remembered
"awww colby" i said hugging him. "i'm sorry for everything love." he whispered. my heart sank into my chest.
"i love you" he continued. i opened my eyes still hugging him.
"i love you too" i said looking up and kissing him.
"sam come back" colby said breaking the kiss.
sam peeked around the corner. "i'm not naked" i joked.
"i'm just making sure you know cause like i don't wanna be like a pedo or somethi-"
"chill bro it's alright" colby laughed.
"ohhhh what are you eating" he said rubbing his hands together.
"it's pasta try some" i said grabbing him a plate.
he ate it and his shoulders relaxed. "oh my
god this is so good" he said almost inhaling the noodles.
i laughed as he enjoyed the food.

2:26 am
i couldn't sleep. i laid in bed in colby's arms just waiting for them to come back. i breath became shaky.
then, colby opened his eyes.
"what's wrong darling?" he said concerned.
"oh nothing. go back to sleep" i smiled faintly. he sat up looking at me.
"tell me" he said grabbing my hand. "i'm just scared" i said holding him.
"i promise on my life i won't let them get to you" he said kissing my forehead.
"pinky promise?"
"i pinky promise love"
he kissed my head again and we got comfortable once more.
"if you could go anywhere in the world. where would it be" he asked.
"probably playa del carmen, mexico" i said. "i went there once with my mom. it was so gorgeous that i never wanted to leave." i smiled remembering everything we did together.
"let's go tomorrow. you me and sam. i'll have a surprise for you too down there" he said.
"like. we pack everything and go" i asked. "are you crazy" i giggled.
"crazy for you" he said kissing me. "does sam even know?" i asked. "he don't mind. he has nothing here for him. it would be good for a change. we can change identities and everything" he said.
i gave it no thought. "let's leave as soon as we wake up" i smiled. he smiled back kissing me and holding me tight.

each of us only carried a small bag as we had nothing here. walking through security we made it onto the plane. after hours in the sky, we finally landed.
"you know that surprise i had for you?" colby asked. "yes what is it"i smiled.
he looked over and i followed his direction and there stood kat with a bear and flowers.
"oh my god" i said covering my mouth. i ran over to her and grabbed her tight. "oh my god i've missed you so much" i said tears forming.
