as me and miss thornhill walked back to nevermore i told her everything. my tears fell more aggressively the deeper i got into the story. "oh god y/n, im so sorry that happened to you" she said comfortingly with her arms around my shoulders as we made it up to my dorm. it had rained while i had been left in the forest so i was soaked to the skin. i shivered as she helped me get undressed and got my fluffiest pjs out of my drawer. "thank you miss thornhill, i really appreciate it" i said with a smile. she smiled warmly back at me and gave me a nod.

after she had left my dorm i grabbed my phone and scrolled through my socials until i got bored. i placed my phone by the side of me as i sat up onto the edge of my bed and contemplated talking to larissa. no no that's stupid! she left you alone! i sighed and slipped on my slippers, opened my door and ran to her office. i was running like my life depended on it. i reached her door and fiercely knocked with zero hesitation. "what is it?" i heard a dry voice say from inside. "it's..it's me.." i said trying to contain myself. i heard gentle footsteps approaching the door and heard the lock turn. next thing i knew she opened the door and pulled me inside. "look i just wanted to ta-" i started to say before she cut me off. "why did you tell marilyn?" she said quietly yet infuriated. "excuse me?" i said accusingly "why y/n, why?!" she yelled with her back to me but she was looking at me over her shoulder. "you left me there!" i screamed. "she was about to cry i thought she was going to pass out! she though i was dead! why would you leave me there!?" i screamed, tears welling in my infuriated eyes. "you had no right to tell me you had feelings for me! what did you think was going to happen?" she screamed back at me, turning to face me now. she had black tears streaming down her blood red face. i opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. i started to cry softly as she stared at me with a stare full of hatred. "i asked you a question." she said angrily as if she were building up a scream. "larissa...you were the only person i felt at home around." i said softly, my voice was cracking because of my sobs. "you were the only person i felt i could properly trust but if you don't want me to feel that way then fine." i said shaking with fury and sadness. "goodbye larissa" i said as i turned and walked out the door, slamming it behind me. i heard the door open as she called out for me "y/n wait! please y/n!" i ran faster and faster as my tears shot out like little salty bullets. shut the fuck up i dont want to speak to you!!! i ran to jericho and sat in the weathervane cafe to get some space and alone time.

about an hour had passed by when i heard miss thornhill calling out my name. "y/n? y/n?". i got up from my booth and left the cafe to get to her. i turned the corner and there she was. but someone was stood next to her. larissa. "y/n my darling!" she said as she ran towards me and swooped me up and cradled me like a baby. i heard her whisper into my ear "i will never ever leave you again. and thats a promise". i got down and looked up at her pale face tear stained face. her dress had mud all over the bottom of it so i presumed her and marilyn had been out looking for me in the fields. my eyes went all glassy as she cupped my face in her white, satin gloves. i leaned up and kissed her lips softly. she slowly pulled away and i latched onto her and sobbed. she put her arms around me and rocked is back and forth as i frantically apologiesed. maybe we haven't fallen apart after all..

s/n: okay so ik the ending is kinda rushed but i have to wake up early tomorrow and its pretty late rn!! also this is the last part of 'i think im in love'!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
