For Them

Chapter Thirteen: Planning

Everyone's on the jet. Nick flying, Maria next to him co-piloting, while the others are seated in the back, everyone strapped in including Peter who is in some weird seat thing Nick got to protect him from all the air traveling, even though Nat insisted he would be fine considering the two different types of super soldier serum coursing through his veins.

Nat and James are seated next to each other, sitting as close as possible. Both of them are silent despite each having so many questions for the other. They don't know how to talk to each other anymore. Between all the time spent apart and all the horrible things that have happened every time they ran into each other, shooting at one another, working for different people when the leaders of the red room and hydra were having a bit of a lovers quarrel, being forced to act like they hated each other most of the time. Things were a little awkward.

After multiple hours of flying and no one being able to sleep at all through the night due to Yelena's snoring, they were finally at S.H.I.E.L.D. Nat wakes up Yelena by holding her nose closed, causing her to freak out and gasp for air, as Nat and Bucky laugh.

"This was very unnecessary." Yelena says as she rubs her nose and gets up from the seat

Nat picks up Peter and the four of them leave the jet and join Maria, Sharon, and Nick inside the head courtiers.

The seven of them sat in a conference room ready to plan the rescue. Nick was of course at the head of the table with Sharon and Maria seated at one side, the others on the other. Yelena has her head resting on Nat's shoulder as she's still a bit asleep, as well as Peter sleeping in his mothers arms. Bucky is also seated very close to Natasha, paying more attention to her then he is to Fury's rants of information.

Natasha begins feeling a little suffocated, being sandwiched between people, barely able to move her arms. As well as beginning to get pissed off with Nick's plan. Yelena and Nat both love Melina, she's like a mother to them. But they both know that if they were able to hit the red room she would want them to save as many girls as possible, not her. 

After a very long time, Nick's plan finally comes to an end and everyone in the room knows it won't work. He doesn't have enough information which causes everyone to look at Nat and Bucky. They look at everyone confused not really knowing what to add as they don't have that much information. At least not that they are sure is completely true. 

"Come on Nat you guys have to know some things. You two sneaked around all the time. There is no way you didn't find any secrets along the way." Yelena says who was awoken by Nicks loud rants

Nat and James both look at each other deciding if they both remember the same thing. Their memories were both messed with so much they aren't sure what they saw. The two of them don't want to lead people to a dead end for them all to be ambushed. Once they finally agree the things they remember actually happened, the two head to the front of the room where the big planning board is.

"The Hydra facility where they're keeping Melina is the worst and most well guarded facility they have. The place is protected by over 100 guards as well as two mutants. Twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff." Nat says as she finds pictures of them as toddlers with their parents at a protest

"The twins are eleven years old now and don't have very good control of their powers yet. Still they are extremely dangerous and unpredictable and will do anything Struker tells them to. Now the good thing is they aren't mind controlled. They are just kids who were manipulated and don't trust people, so if they see unknown people they will attack. Pietro is as fast as a bullet and Wanda can manipulate minds and has telekinesis. She can sense new people" Bucky says

"So how do get in if they have a girl that can sense we're there?" Sharon asks

"We'll have a distraction. Like James said they don't have good control over their powers yet. If Wanda is distracted her powers don't work." Nat says starting to understand what James's plan is

"And how will we distract them?" Nick asks already not liking the plan

"Natalia and I will. We know the twins. The two of us joined them on their first mission." James says smiling a bit at the memory

"Yeah then they tattled on us because we didn't kill the three year old and got us thrown in a cell. Then guarded that cell." Nats grumbles

"Like I said unpredictable." James says

The two explain the plan they have to everyone. They discuss the amount of security the know will be their, the maps of cells and experiment rooms, How many agents they will need to successfully complete this, as well as when and where the people in charge normally come to the facility. 

"Ok lets get the jet prepped for Russia." Fury says about to leave the room

"Oh we're not going to Russia." Nat says

"Then where the hell is this thing?" He asks

"Sokovia." Bucky replies

Nick looks at them confused before everything finally falls into place. That's why they could never find places like this. They aren't located in Russia. They are in small places under Russian territory. Places no one would think to look. 

"Ok well lets get a jet prepped for Sokovia then." Fury says then actually leaves.

"Wait till he finds out it's floating." James whispers to Nat as they leave the room as well, after seeing Fury's surprise of the location

They both laugh, but that quickly calms down when Peter starts crying, causing James to look at the child.

"Ok Natalia I think it's time for some answers." He says and the three of them head to an empty training room
