I was walking around the office room in one of Kol's shirts and in a skirt because I can't put on shorts or pants without feeling bloated or tight. I was staring at the wall with a pen in my hand and looking at the pinned papers on the wall.
"bloodline... sire line..."
"I've decided," Kol said coming in. "We're getting... oh."
"I'm stuck."
Kol looked at me and then took the pen from my hand. "My turn."
"Ah." he said holding up a finger while I pouted. "my turn doing the spell."
I sat down as he looked at the board. "Where are the kids?"
"Rebekah wanted to take them into the city," Kol said going up to one of the pages.
"Rebekah, Danny, and Kyle against Nate, Shawn, Cora, and Colin," I said smiling at Kol looked over his shoulder and I saw the smile. "You are a masochist, Rebekah is going to kill you later."
"She can certainly try," Kol responded while he wrote. "But she volunteered for this, so not completely our fault."
I smiled and then sat up. "Jacob called," I told him. "We should head out there before going to New Orleans."
"Is it bad?"
I sighed and place a hand over my stomach where the first baby began kicking. "I think he's at his end. I know he doesn't want to go to New Orleans, especially after Kaleb's death, but... he said he finished the columbarium. We can do a small funeral for Kaleb since he didn't wish to be buried in New Orleans or nearby. And he wanted to do it so Colin can have a place to see him every day."
Kol walked over and sat beside me while pulling me towards him. "You okay?"
I nodded. "Other than Kaleb? Jacob and dad aren't on the best of terms, I'd like to end his suffering before it gets worse. And hey, the kids love him, he's the coolest uncle."
