Note: It's been a while. But we're heading towards season five of the originals. This might be rushed, but please bare with me. Also, I might be going back to the previous books one and two of Clarissa and Kol's story to add more scenes between them because the more the better, right?

Also happy reading!

I remember once going through the library at Duke with Kaleb one afternoon while my aunt had to tutor a few students in a private room. There was something that caught my attention and it read, 'The dead cannot cry out for justice. It is the duty of the living to do so for them.' that's what Lois McMaster Bujold said about the dead and the living.

Thinking about everyone who'd died and deserved justice; Jenna, my aunt Isobel, Aiden, Davina, Kaleb...

"Here I thought coming home would bring joy not sorrow," Rebekah said as got out of the car.

"Is it really sorrow?" Jacob asked.

"Jacob," I scolded while holding the phone to my ear.

"I mean, you reap what you sow," Jacob continued. "Karma's a bitch."

Rebekah stopped and went to slap him but Kol stepped in and grabbed her arm before she could touch him.

"Sorry," Jacob said to Rebekah. "But I'm inclined to side on Danny and the rest of the harvest girls side of this."

"Mom," I said

"Cora, honey, please listen to your brother," I said on the phone. "Luke, don't you dare-- colin, do not encourage your sister."

"your wife is a wonder woman you know that?" Rebekah said to my husband.

"Of course, I know that," Kol said then kissed my cheek before taking the phone from my hands. "All of you behave, listen to Kyle and your uncle or you can forget about school."

"Yes!" Luke said excitedly while the others groaned.

"Alright, everyone to bed," Kyle said.

"Bya mama, bye dad," our kids all said.
