Ivysong's POV.
I beat her to Big Rocks. I always do. To my surprise, Rosefall ran up to me with a look of distress on her face.
"What is it?" I asked cooly. "ShadowClan. But its many cats." She responded.
"Where?" I asked angrily, fur standing up. I'll slash all their faces for entering my territory. Good thoughts.
I sort of jumped. Hey, still not used to that y'know. That's the fun part. I rolled my eyes.
"Hey! You okay in that brain of yours?!" Rosefall knocked me out of my thoughts. "Yeah. Fine. What were you saying?"
Rosefall sighed. "I smelt them near Mothermouth."
"Maybe they're just going to talk to StarClan."
"I really dont know, there are many cats, and I-"
Listen to her.
.
.
.
.Fine.
"Okay fine. We can check it out."
Repeat after me. We check it out--
"We check it out--"
If they're at Mothermouth in a group--
"If they're at Mothermouth in a group--"
Then we fetch Brambleheart.
Brambleheart... ugh.
Say it.
"Th-then we fetch Brambleheart.
Rosefall seemed oblivious to there being anything wrong with me. Good.
"Good plan. Let's go."
We made our way to Mothermouth keeping downwind of ShadowClan. Just as I expected they were in a large battle patrol.
"Those mousebrains." I growled.
"Come on, let's go get Brambleheart." Rosefall said.
Against my instinct, we ran away from them and back to camp. We burst in and went straight to her.
I held a stone cold gaze as I waited for Rosefall to explain everything. She did, and they talked.
I hear you're angry thoughts, Ivysong... you hardly want what you deserve you just want her gone.
"We'll confront then attack." Brambleheart finalized. Rosefall nodded and I did aswell.
Brambleheart leaped onto the Greatledge and called a Clan meeting. By now it was sundown and every cat was antsy without a leader.
"I know Batstar hasnt returned yet but a potential threat of ShadowClan has appeared on our territory and we have to drive them out." Brambleheart explained.
"They are at Mothermouth with a huge patrol and we will first confront, then attack. Ivysong, Moonwish, Frostedwing, Juniperbrush, Stonefall, Quartzshine and Cinnamonsky, we will all fight today. The rest of you shall defend the queens and kits." Brambleheart finished.
"Let's go." She hopped down and I walked to her. Once all the cats were gathered, we walked out of camp and trudged to Mothermouth.
Once we reached there, the massive patrol was still there as if they were waiting for something.
Today is the day, Ivysong.
Really?
Yes.
I took a breath. We all raced down to face them. The ugly cat Fawnstar faced Brambleheart.
"Batstar too scared to show her face here herself?" Fawnstar teased.
"Why are you here." Demanded Brambleheart.
"This is neutral ground, we're allowed to come and go as we please."
"Dont kid yourself. The territory around you belongs to StormClan and we only let you come here if you're here to speak with StarClan."
I noticed most of their warriors were carrying moss. They're here for the water!
"Who's to say I'm not here to speak to them?"
Brambleheart's eyes shifted around the ShadowClan warriors. "You..You hunted here." Brambleheart said with a cold voice.
"Yes.. we did. And what will you do about it?" Fawnstar sneered.
"How about this!" Brambleheart let out a battle cry and leapt high onto Fawnstar's back.
StormClan and ShadowClan took this opportunity to spring into battle. I wrestled with an older, muscular tom and easily was able to pin him and get a few great rakes to his belly before he rolled away and leaped onto my back.
I hissed and rolled dropping all of my weight onto him. I heard him heave a breath and I got up and slashed his face as he was attempting to re-catch his breath.
The tom quickly bolted away and I turned to find my next opponent. I noticed Brambleheart was being ganged up on by three other warriors and she wasnt looking too good.
Do it now.
With one swift move I leapt onto the closest warrior and raked my claws through his belly. I leaped off of him to defend Brambleheart against the other two.
Thankfully, Quartzshine was able to take one of them, so I took the other. I slashed at the cat's nose and they managed to nick my ear pretty good. I winced.
Behind me, Brambleheart fell, too weak to stand. Perfect.
I finished off the warrior by raking his shoulder, then pinning him down and raking at his belly.
I shook off my pelt and went to Brambleheart. "Are you okay?" I lifted her up and dragged her into Mothermouth.
We walked until I figured it was safe enough to rest. "Are you okay?" I asked her, trying my hardest to care.
"I know.. you dont like me... Ivysong." Brambleheart said weakly.
"You shouldn't have over-exurted yourself back there." My shoulder was bleeding, so was my ear and both of my sides.
"I had to... for my Clan." She winced again.
Do it.....
This was pleasing to watch.
Do it....
Me, finally having control over something.
Do it...
Over.. her...
Do it..
Over her....
Do it.
Over her sad, pathetic..
DO IT NOW!
Life.
And with one swift bite to the neck, Brambleheart was dead. Finally.
