I'm sorry I didn't update yesterday, was quite occupied.

                  **************
Fort and Peat were driving home, Peat had fallen asleep because he was quite drunk. From the venue the meeting held to his house took quite sometime. Halfway through Fort noticed that Peat wasn't moving. He initial thought it was because of the alcohol, but he was completely passed out. At a stop sign, he reached out to check his heart beat it was quite slow. He tapped him on the cheek to get him to wake up, but he didn't. At this point in time he was turning pale. Fort began to panic. He took Peat to the nearest hospital. He narrated what had happened earlier at the party. The doctor initially blew it off as intoxication, that he'll be fine. But because of Fort's insistence, he checked his heartbeat, and saw it was irregular. He checked again and noticed the same thing. He was immediately rushed to the ER. Fort stood outside, scared. He didn't sleep a bit all through. A nurse came out and he rushed to ask her
" What's wrong with him?"
"He was poisoned, so we're trying to get the poison out."
"Poisoned, how, he just drank, that's all he did."
"Did you notice his hand, it got injected on his palm."
At this point the nurse had been called back so she left. At this point, a lot of thoughts were running through his mind. Was he going to lose his baby? Was he destined to be unhappy? All these thoughts were going through his mind. Peat was his happiness, he was his Querencia, his home. Peat was someone who had his own flaws but made Fort's life easier. He was snappy with things put always put Fort into consideration in his plans. Fort stood outside that door what what seemed like hours, he called Peat's father to inform him, but remember that he couldn't come because he was in the air going to Greece. It was really a tiring experience for him. He was holding onto Peat's phone and got a notification. They both had each other's thumbprints in their phones so he opened it. The message was from Ple. It was a short message that went
"I hope you never recover."
Fort scrolled up and saw their conversations. Peat was trying to make peace. Fort went to his account details and saw that Peat paid for her tuition and upkeep. He was taking care of her without informing him. And now she tried to kill him. Fort was fuming. He was going to kill her with his bare hands. As he was about to leave, the doctor came out of the ER  and gave him the news that Peat was fine now, but was not awake, he said the poison had gotten into his bloodstream and had to find a way to drain it out, but luckily they found what the poison was on time so the antidote was easy. Fort had tears in his eyes. He crouched down with his hands at the back of his head. He was so grateful. Peat was going to live. He wasn't in the clear yet,but he was way better than when they brought him. Fort was very conflicted, things kept happening to the both of them. Most especially Peat. When thing begin to look up for them, something comes up and ruins it, was he the problem? was it his fault? Oh how he loves Peat with  the entirety of his being but couldn't bear to see him hurt anymore.
He couldn't break up with him because he couldn't bear to see him hurt or broken or even cry. He had thought about what he was going to do, but had to wait till he knew his boyfriend was fine first. He went home to freshen up and came back. He had to wait for two more days before he was able to see him, but he never left the hospital.
When Peat woke up, he called for Fort. He was outside. He ran in, he was a bit skeptical whether to touch him or not. Peat stretched out his hands for the person in front of him. He was so happy and had a big grin on his face, it looked like it hurt from smiling but he couldn't help it. What felt like hours to him, felt like years to Fort. He was relieved and ecstatic.  Peat was in his arms once more. He was safe.
