Peat was clearly pissed off, for someone he thought seemed genuinely happy for him. This was a 180° turn. Peat wasn't going to take it today as he looked down at his boyfriend who was clinging to him. He glared at him. This was a clear indication that if he stayed one more minute, he probably will be killed, so he moved back and said “ I'll come by tomorrow to check his condition”. Peat looked at him again, he stood up this time and responded “ I'm not one to be violent, for my Faen, I'll scratch out your eyes and feed it to you for breakfast. Get Lost!”  Prince walked away but he didn't get very far before Peat dragged him by the arm and asked “ What did you give him”. Prince turned his face pushed Peat's hand away. Peat looked at the hand that was pushed away then grabbed his throat. Prince was gasping for air as Peat had no intention of letting go. His glare was deadly. Prince had to tap Peat's hand to let him go. Peat pushed to the ground squatted down and said “ Do not mess with me. Fort might be merciful, but not me!” Prince felt shivers down his spine, Peat was glaring at him. He was about to grab his neck again when Prince replied “ it's truth serum, I added it to his drink to see whether I had a place in his heart but he kept mentioning your name over and over again. Peat, what did you use on him? Please tell him”? Peat said “ that's for me to know and for you never to find out. Stay away from my Faen is that clear?” Prince nodded out of fear. Peat was scary he said in his mind. Peat walked back to where Fort was. Peat found it difficult to drag Fort upstairs so he just moved him to the floor, close to a couch and kept him there. He got a towel and put it on his head. Fort held onto him like a koala, making movement difficult for Peat, he gave up and let Fort hug him. “ I love you too much to hurt you and I know, you can never harm me, why was I so scared to tell you then”? Peat asked himself but it was so loud  Fort could hear it. Fort responded “ I think its because you don't love me enough, I think the amount of things we've been through together has made your love for me weaken. I have put you through so much it's unbelievable the kind of damage you had to go through because of me.” Peat felt like a dagger had been cut through his heart. Fort was hurting him again with his words. “Should we end this, it seems like I'm always grieving you, hurting you indirectly and causing you harm. Aren't you tired? Should we just break up”? Peat asked with tears welling up in his eyes. He felt his love has been painful and unforgiving. There was no time to rest for him, from one trouble to another, one drama to another, before they could rest they were constantly targeted. He would not change anything though, if Fort was the one in another life, he would still pick him, but h desperately wished things were easier. He ran from almost getting sold to facing a jealous fling. There was always something else everytime. “When would it all be over”? he thought. Fort responded “ Do you think I can? Do you think I can let you go? Because you say it does it make it reality? Since I saw you, held you, made you mine, there was no going back. We've been through too much together to know that its impossible to be apart. It's a waste even. Peat, I can't live without you. When I was dying, I saw you reach out to me, telling me to fight, I came back to you, and you're suggesting I leave. We die here... I picked my poison and it's you”. Before Peat could respond again Fort had fallen asleep holding him tightly. He spoke “ I wish the world was fair to us, my love, we wouldn't have to fight so much everytime”. There was no escaping him. He smirked. He was able to escape his grip, he got a blanket and covered him with it. He Peat left the house.
