Winged Grian/hermit one shots

(A flight in the dence jungle and a panther attack Grian ends up with a broken wing, and a concussion. Despite what the others say he tries to fly 🫤)

Grian loves to fly, even more than most, with him being an avian hybrid. Some might say it's an unhealthy obsession, but the smaller would disagree. Scar had asked him to get some jungle wood for him on his trip out to get some pesky parrots. Wanting to be useful for his friend he agreed but ignored Scar's warning about the extremely large panthers in the near by jungle. "Sure I'll do it, easy as pie." Grian said as he jumped off the edge and started to flap his wings taking off towards the jungle. "Wait Grian! Be careful, there are large panthers who will attack you because your basically a large bird!" Scar tried to shout after the smaller, but the wind ripped away his words. Grian cheered as he landed in the jungle, his wings twitched in excitement. "Shoot for the stars" he stared to cut down a few trees and continued to look for pesky birds. Unknown to him, a large panther with red eyes and a large scar running across his face and flank was watching the small winged hermit. Grian was about to give up shearing for the parrots when he finally found one in a weird clearing. The smaller crept out his wings fluffed trying to make him look bigger. He heard a yawl from behind him and he wiped around to see what it came from. Standing about 3ft away from him was a large black panther, its tail lashing angrily. Before Grian could react it lunged at him, it's claws extended. Grian let out a cry as his right wing that he had used to try and block the panther bent awkwardly. It nocked him on the floor and pinned him down. Right then and there he knew it most likely would be his last moment. The panther stood on him making it hard to breathe, he started to loose his consciousness. He swore he heard fireworks in the distance, but he wasn't sure. After a bit he heard voices before everything went dark. .........
